Says he wants you to GM the team.

What do you do?

1: Give Joe Webb the rest of the starts this season, Jackson hasn't gotten any better and never will. Let Webb give it a shot, if he doesn't show potential then you know what you need to do in the draft. Andrew Luck or another QB, preferably someone far from the likes of a scrambler since you have two already. Cam Newton is out of the question, Luck, Ponder, or anyone that can be built.

2: Get a God damn coach, someone, hell anyone that isn't a complete <Censored> up. Go after Cowher if you must, I hate him as a person but good lord. I'd send a huge offer to Jeff Fischer or someone with a good name. Not Wade Phillips or anyone, I may even look to the NCAA for a coach.

3: Re-build the defense. Keep Allen and a few LB's but everyone else either needs to have an amazing off-season or get the <Censored> out. The CB's are God awful and their are two great ones in Cincy that are more than likely on the market, get them. Get anyone, draft anyone from Miami since they seem to produce in the NFL. Go after Ahmad Black or that DB from Nebraska whose name I can't remember.

4: Look to other places for help, look at what San Diego has done with nothing. All of their receivers have the same build in size. Get guys like that, bring them in, work with them, teach them how to do what you want. Don't go in the draft looking for help unless you can find another Mike Williams in the fourth round.

5: Hire new coaches, that team is playing slow. Watch them this season compared to last, they look slow and defeated. Last year they flew to the ball, make that <Censored> happen. Bring in someone who is proven to build the DLine and secondary.

6: Put AP on the market. He's lost all the mojo that once made him great. He had less than 50 yards against the Giants, something is wrong. He gets his chances, he just seems to be lacking what he had. Either get ready to pay with a better OL or do the smart thing and trade him for picks.

7: Bring in young blood, look at what Tampa has done, you have Jared Allen, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Shaincoe and other great players, let them train the next generation. Get rid of everyone that won't progress, anyone past their prime has got to go.

8: Upgrade the damn roof of the stadium -- or just build a new one. C'mon guys, it's time.

9: Don't go after any free agents that are older than 27. They may help right away, but they will only falter in the long run.

10: Like stated, look around. Who do the Giants use on Dline? The ends look identical, find some guys like that and go after them. Find athletes, find a guy that can bench a horse while running a 4.4. You can teach someone how to do things right if you give them a few years. You already have talent but most of them are getting older.

Absolutely. Joe is a project quarterback but so was Tarvaris. T-Jack just isn't working out, his contract is up, and its forgone that he's gone. Webb is a super-athlete and if anything, look at Josh Freeman in order to find the motivation and confidence to make the switch. Also, start planning on how you're going to get Carolina out of that first overall pick. If it takes a pair of 1st and a 2nd for Andrew Luck...do it!
I like Leslie Frazier, I have campaigned for him to be "the guy" for over a year but after the past few weeks, I'm just not feeling it. I wouldn't be disappointed if he was given the job but we really need to get a proven guy with a winning pedigree in the door. Cowher, Fisher, Gruden are on the short-list of NFL guys & Jim Harbaugh is my guy for a collegiate look. Enough of the trend of hiring coordinators.

3: Re-build the defense. Keep Allen and a few LB's but everyone else either needs to have an amazing off-season or get the <Censored> out. Defense is aging and fast. We stand to lose Ray Edwards and Pat Williams to free agency this season & only Ray I'd want back. I am now at a point where I don't see what the big deal with Jared Allen is anymore. He's been pwned by so many OT's this season & teams just aren't having to chip or double him as much as they did in 2009. We're bound to take a few steps back before moving forward...so a lot of vets have to go. Winfield and EJ (sadly) won't do us many favors in the long run. We do have some great potential in guys like Asher Allen, Chris Cook, and Jasper Brinkley. Get those guys on the field, get them experience.

6: Put AP on the market. He's lost all the mojo that once made him great. He had less than 50 yards against the Giants, something is wrong. He gets his chances, he just seems to be lacking what he had. Either get ready to pay with a better OL or do the smart thing and trade him for picks.
I said this after the 2009 NFC Championship. Love the guy to death but I've realized that I like him more b/c he's a Viking. Too much of a feast or famine back, ball security issues, always an injury risk, and c'mon...when was the last time he completely took over a game. He'd get a serious return on the trade market and the time to trade him is now. Not many expect his prime to last long with the way he runs. Zygi would never go for it but if he cared enough about the future of his franchise, he would pull the trigger. Minnesota might not welcome him back if he did tho.

8: Upgrade the damn roof of the stadium -- or just build a new one. C'mon guys, it's time.
Both the University of Minnesota and the Twins have stadiums that were built within the last 2 years. I really don't see how in the hell the city manages the funding and the tax payer approval to build a 3rd. The Vikes are basically playing in the HHH Dome for free, with a year by year lease, until those plans for Los Angeles get closer to a reality. I stick by the call that it will be the Vikings to go to.

Jackson shouldn't of even started last game against the Giants. I'll be the first to say before picking up Favre he was doing phenomenal in the last weeks of that season; however, let Webb get some reps. The guy is physically an animal, just watch his youtube videos. Give the guy a legitimate chance, maybe even all of next season and bring in a decent backup or something. If you can't get Luck in the draft, then hold off on a quarterback until next draft when Landry Jones is available.

I'd personally look at Harbaugh before any of them. Gruden would be the last guy I would call. I may try to keep Favre around as just a player-coach next season if I can get him for cheap.

You have to understand about Allen is that without w2 being efficient this season, he and Edwards are going to see more attention put on them. The same <Censored> is happening this season in Detroit and everyone is on the bandwagon. When each member of the line can get some amount of pressure, you will have success. But at least 3/4 of the line needs to break through the offense, you can't rely on Allen and Edwards every play. They knew the Williams were getting old and didn't go after a DT in a draft littered with them. Shame on them.

AP is more than likely past his prime, he doesn't run with the same force he did a few seasons ago.

What frustrates me about Jared Allen is that he's supposed to be one of the best DE's in the game but he is often shut down by single OT's and cheap double teams. At the same time, how is he so great if relies so much on the Williams Bros? Elite DE's are the ones that create the opportunities...not the other way around. Some of the game's elite DE's also play alongside lower caliber talent but they still produce. Regardless, the Vikings are still 5th at stuffing the run and the Williams' wall has held up just fine. Not as good as they have been in recent seasons, Pat is old, but they continue to do what they do. Guys like Jimmy Kennedy and Letroy Guion have also done a great job filling in for Pat during key plays.

Jared Allen should command way more attention than he is right now or has all season. If he is that good...then he's either piling up a ton of sacks or he's opening up sh*t for the guys alongside him. Neither happening...just week after week of 1 OT completely pwing Jared, all game long.

No DE/DT can do it alone, Cortez Kennedy is the only one that comes to mind who ever did it alone. Possibly Julius Peppers but that defensive line wasn't bad. During his best season in 2008, he was playing with two former first round picks and a no name. That team went 12-4, though they still struggled against the run. It may be safe to say that he had little help.

Sapp had Rice and Booger.
Hayneswroth had Vanden-Bosh and Jevon.
Michael Strahan had Tuck and Osi.
Allen had the Williams and Edwards.
Strahan again had Kenny Holmes when he set the record.
Gastineau had Klecko.
Doleman had Millard and Noga.
White had Simmons.

It's either all in the scheme you run or you need help.

I've seen Suh get man-handled by one lineman and people still ride his dick.

Vikings will more than likely be going to Los Angeles simply because they can't get a new stadium. It's not like they haven't been trying.

The Vikings aren't going anywhere. The Jags are more likely to move there than Minnesotta.

I disagree. When was the last time a team with no stadium issues relocated? The Jags biggest issue is that they can't come close to filling the seats in a stadium that was built way too big for a 3rd NFL franchise. Regardless, the city is making their money on that stadium with all the college games played inside it.

Exactly, the city of Minneapolis will track Wolf down and gut him like a fish if they move that team.

I think they're safe where they are, they have a good fan base and a lot of followers in the NFL. They won't be moving, I'm sure the city -- or the team -- will either repair the stadium or play elsewhere in the state before they move. I can't imagine that team going anywhere.

The Vikings have a very good fan base but so do the Bills. Matter of fact, first hand with both...I'd say Bills' fans are more dedicated. Doesn't change the fact that neither city has the money for a new stadium. There is also no repairing or expanding the the HHH Dome. They'll patch up the roof but the place is a relic and the Vikings have wanted out of the building long before the Twins started their campaign for a new park.

Hmmm, well I guess the contractors in Minnesota will be busy every few weeks for the next five-six years.
