I have to say no, and that's not being a homer.

Reviewing the Bucs game, Blount was given a horrible spot on a 3rd down run that would have give Tampa the ball on the Atlanta 5-yard line with less than a minute to play.

The next week Roddy White shoved a DB to the ground then made the game winning catch in the end-zone.

They could have slaughtered the Rams, but didn't.

They allow 5.8 yards per play while averaging 5.2 yards per play just doesn’t equate to a high-quality team. Their schedule is soft and getting softer, so home-field advantage in the NFC is a good possibility, but that defense isn’t Super Bowl caliber.

I am on the fence about the Falcons right now.

I have to admit, I am a huge fan of Matt Ryan and his leadership skills are outstanding. Definitely one of the QBs that are going to cause defense fits for the next few years in the NFL. They didn't deserve the Baltimore game, they played better, but that call at the end was absolutely a terrible no-call. That defense really is what scares me. I mean, they aren't very dominate at all, and on top of that I question them in the running game. Ray Rice was tearing them apart for about 5 per clip, and then the Ravens stopped running..

I'm a believer. Very explosive offense and the defense has been doing enough to help them win football games.

The Falcons are a good team, 8-2 good? No, but they're good. Playoff team.

They have recieved break after break this season, just think.

Week 3: They win after a game winning chip shot is missed.
Week 4: Clements intercepts the ball to seal the game, but then doesn't secure or just go down.
Week 5: Close game with Cleveland until Wallace goes down, then they open up the lead.
Week 6: The before mentioned terrible spot on Blounts carry.
Week 10: Two bad calls by the ref on the game winning drive, the Jenkins no catch, then the Roddy White pushoff. Both were the wrong call.

That's 5 of their 8 wins the quite honestly, didn't deserve to win.

I think they are for real. They have been winning regardless of everything else, and thats what matters.

The Giants, Sheagles, Aints and Fudge Packers are better.

O Really?

Well considering the Falcons are 8-2 and Giants are 6-4, doesn't make sense, especially considering one of those loses were to the Cowboys.

Cough...Homer.....Cough

Plus when Atlanta beats the Pacers this week, should be pretty common sense they are the better team.

No, you're not.

Rodgers got a first down called back early in the contest, Gonzales was given a first down on an in-completion, and the refs still heavily favor the Falcons.

Let's not get ahead, the Packers aren't even the best in the NFC North.

So us winning another game doesn't help our case for being elite because it was close but us losing a game regardless of margin would help our case for not being elite? =/

They're good, but not as good as their record shows.
Young team, not sure if they could be a real factor in the playoffs with everything on the line.

If we get home field advantage I can see us being a real factor
if not...ehhh...
