Watching SportsCenter and Adam Schefter made a good point... He said "With this team at 1-7, being embarassed as bad as they have these last few weeks, does he really want to go into New York, against their rivals, playing this badly, with this team and this coach? That's the decision Jerry Jones will have to make."

I said Wade because it seems to me that the Vikings aren't as willing to fire Childress, and make changes, as Jerry Jones is. They both have prolonged firing the coaches, but Jerry Jones seems more upset. Yes, they do have 2 less wins than the Vikings, but Jones is usually more involved with his team, than most. Honestly, if I didn't see the Vikings win, I would of guessed they lost, watching the post game interviews. They know they escaped. Since the Vikings won, Childress should have his job for at least another week. Now, if they lose to the Bears, that'd be another story.

Jerry Jones has reportedly put Wade Phillips out of his misery.

CBS-11 in Dallas first reported that Phillips was fired Monday as Cowboys coach. The news was quickly confirmed by the local FOX station and NBCDFW's Newy Scruggs.

Jason Garrett has reportedly been named interim head coach and a news conference is scheduled for 5 p.m et.
imo

I say Childress. I honestly think the Cowboys might not even fire Wade, just wait for the offseason and start fixing things.

Wow, spoke too soon. Thats crazy. Wonder which team will nab him? He's a good coach usually.

That didn't take long for him to get the boot, lol.
Took longer than it should of lol. I like how Jerry Jones was saying how he was against firing a coach during the season because he hasn't seen a midseason coaching change pan out. Guess he changed his mind

It went from bad to worse with Garrett being the interim head coach. The dude has no football knowledge whatsoever and is a horrible and predictable playcaller.
