It has for some reason been bugging me since the segment on it before the game started.
Killer B's or The Renegades? I'm not even sure I like either name for the bench lol.

Also I'm thinking about your 18-0 thing. You know I'm actually not worried about the tougher matchups. I'm worried about the 'weaker' teams. If the Lakers stay locked in, I can see 18-0. But just like what happened with Toronto the other night, they always play down to the level of weaker teams, or they just slip. It was a really ugly game. Even if they are 'weaker' teams, can't always afford to slip up against them and just 'turn it on' late in games.

I love how we have the toughest November schedule in the league. It can only bode well for us when we make our playoff push after the ASB.

Finally got to see the highlights from our game last night. Jrue looked as if he played really good. He was feeling it from outside. And ET had 14/10 and we got the W.

Thinking about last night's game against Portland. I think they need to get rid of Andre Miller because it's not just last night's game, but earlier games I watched too, Miller is trying to be 'the guy'. Instead of deferring to Roy, Miller wants too many shots and holds onto the ball too long. He even ignored Roy who was wide-open a couple of times last night too to take his own contested shots as I remember. Miller's a good player, tough match up, but not the type of PG to have next to Roy IMO.

Who's their backup? Patty Mills?

Armon Johnson. He's pretty good, at least from the little I've seen from him coming off the bench. Good size, quick, and has a smooth jump shot. Scouting reports say he doesn't have good 'pg skills' though. Something you don't really need when you have a guy like Roy, though imo. Defend, pass to the open guy, and make the open shot when you have it. Something it looks like he can do.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Bayless is the better fit. Don't know why they traded him. Well, I do, he wanted more playing time etc. but should have gotten rid of Miller instead.

But he actually produced pretty well when he was given time last year. And he's only like 21/22.

That's what I'm saying. Bayless was pretty damned good off the bench last season when he did get time, and the Blazers played a lot better overall when he was on the floor too.

Never even understood why Miller was signed in the first place. I remembers lot of 'experts' saying he was a bad fit back then too.

Yeah, I agree, they totally should of kept Bayless, he could of been their PG of the future.

Also Ramon Sessions was available when they signed Miller, I personally think Sessions would have done amazing in Portland's system.

Randomly thought of one of my favorite players when he first came out of college. Fell off with me because he then became a Celtic, but it's cool now because he's not a Celtic anymore.... Leon Powe. Cheats, how's Powe doing? He recovering from his injuries at all?

Buried on the bench, but when he plays he still does his thing, draw fouls whenever he gets the ball lol.

But he seems healthy.

Disappointing to hear. He looked good his first year (albeit that he was with Boston). I was excited for him, he had one of those feel-good stories... but like always, injuries take down all the feel-good type of players.

I think he can still be an effective player but there just aren't any minutes for him. Varejao and Hickson start and are better then Powe, Hollins is the first big off the bench and he looks really good so far, better then I expected, and he's got size, something we need. Then usually Jamison but he's been hurt the last few games and has been horrible this year.

lol

DeShawn Stevenson who had played a total of 2 minutes in the first 5 games of the season, comes out of nowhere in the first quarter and hits 2 3-pointers and holds Ray Allen to 1 point.

Also, only 1 quarter in so far, but,

Kidd- 5 assists
Rondo- 2 assists

I probably am going to jinx the whole team right noww
