I guess the Lakers are so much better than the East too because they beat the Raptors!

So does anyone still think the Heat can challenge the Bulls' 72-10 record?

I do.

The refs won't be a factor in this game like they were last night. Howard got away with bloody murder on Lopez last night. I hope he gets his soon enough.

So though they lost 2 of their first 6 you think that they can go the next 76 games and not lose more that 8 times?

Challenging doesn't mean that they'll actually tie the record. I would bet that they don't fall too short of it.

These refs are really something else. They all have a vendetta against the Nets.

If they don't upgrade at C and PG, they won't challenge it?

And how exactly are they going to upgrade those positions? They have no maneuverability with their current salary structures and nobody knows what the new CBA will look like, so the MLE might not even be available anymore.

There talent just isn't good enough. There duo isn't as good as MJ/Pippen, Bosh has a lot of talent but he just simply won't be able to put up numbers in an isolation offense with Wade/Lebron being ball dominant.

Draft and FAcy. You never know if the MLE will or won't be available.
And yes Jordan/Pippen is a better duo, but the current Heat team is a trio..

The Heat are very limited in draft picks because of S&Ts they did for both Bosh and LeBron.

Bosh is used as a spot up mid range shooter so even though he has star talent hes used as a role player.

Still, any upgrade in an upgrade.
Let them build chemistry, we are like 6 games in lol.

If they're going to want to challenge the record they're going to need a new coach and a new offensive system, they might be able to with a better coach, but with Sprolstra, probably not

I wouldn't disagree with that.
But to me, talent really isn't the issue for them to do it.

Bron still has to learn how to move without the ball. Bosh doesn't seem like he can handle elite big men imo
