Why don't they just ban everything but jerseys, shorts, socks, and shoes?
Did they ban the headband as a whole? Cause that is obviously not my point.

They mine as well. They've already began banning things that don't effect the game anyway. Why not go ahead and ban EVERYTHING that doesn't effect the game..

They effect it because it's not formal to wear things like that. These types of things aren't worn in sports like hockey, baseball or football. The NBA is different that way. The leg sleeves or arm sleeves or headbands should never be banned. I think they add to the personality of the player, but once you start wearing them in the way they aren't supposed to be worn, it's too much.

But who's to say they are supposed to be worn a certain way? Who set this generic way to wear a headband? Why can't players have the freedom of wearing their accesories they way they want? Isn't that what helps them look different?

I just don't see a point in this. I don't think any NBA player would be trying to diss the league he's playing in. <_<

Exactly why that it could be seen as disrespecting the nba angle is dumb. Why would a guy who is making millions of dollars and providing for his family because of the best basketball league in the world wanna disrespect the league.

Come on stern. How many players are even wearing it upside down to be a problem? If you're banning this you better ban lebrons two different shoe act.

Who really cares? If Rondo is out complaining about it, why do all of you need to complain about it?

I didn't hear this much complaining when Stern banned the legging things that Michael Redd and Stackhouse used to wear.
Mcgrady used to wear it and he was amazing when he had it on. Maybe thats why he has regressed so much....
