Rondo with 50 assist in 1st 3 games. That's insane. He's definitely the real deal. I was a non-believer as well. Not anymore.

Lakers won. 114-106. Broke away at the end. Grant Hill put up 21 though. Nice to see. Try for 30 next time! :p

The fact Monroe doesn't even get off the bench is a pathetic joke.
Detroit is good as <Censored> at ruining careers before they start.

BOSTON (AP) -- Rajon Rondo has stopped wearing a headband after the league instituted a new rule that prohibits players from wearing one with the logo upside-down.

Rondo had become a familiar sight with the sweatband, which he wore upside-down for unknown reasons. But NBA spokesman Tim Frank said a league rule prohibits players from wearing the headbands inside-out or upside-down.

So Rondo ditched the headband altogether.

Rondo wouldn't comment Friday night on the reasons for the new look.

The new rule was first reported by ESPN.com.
Weird rule, even weirder that Rondo wouldn't just wear it the right way.

Knicks played tough against the Celtics but we still lost. I think if we had Anthony Randolph we wouldve won. But thats what happens so gotta take it and move on.

I think the Cavs should make a play for Iguodala. We really need a SF, I'm sure he can play there. Only thing is his contract. But I think he would be a good addition, and wouldn't cost us Hickson.

BOSTON (AP)—Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers confirmed that backup guards Delonte West(notes) and Von Wafer(notes) scuffled after practice on Friday.

Rivers said any discipline would be handled internally.

“There was a fight, and that’s all you need to know,” Rivers said before Friday night’s game against the New York Knicks. “I’m going to leave it alone, but obviously I’m not thrilled that it happened. Let’s talk about the Knicks.”

Wafer declined to comment before the game, referring questions to Rivers and general manager Danny Ainge. His Twitter page included the comment, “i love my team, we family,” but Wafer denied tweeting anything.

West was not available for comment.

According to a report on Hoopsworld.com, which first reported the fight, the two were playing three-on-three when West became so physical that Wafer left for the locker room. As he was leaving, West swore at him.

After Wafer showered, the website reported, West approached him from behind and punched him. Wafer retaliated before teammates separated them. The website said tempers also flared between the two about a week ago.

Celtics guard Ray Allen(notes) said he didn’t expect there to be lingering animosity.

“I’ve seen a lot of fights. You’d be amazed,” Allen said. “It doesn’t change the dynamics of the team. Sometimes guys are just angry and have a bad day.”

West is inactive for the first 10 games this season after pleading guilty this summer to weapons charges in Maryland. West played for Cleveland last season. He was traded to Minnesota and waived by the Timberwolves before the Celtics signed him.

Wafer is with his sixth team in six seasons.

Wilson Chandler has a chance to be sixth man if he keeps playing like this.
