Cliff Lee wants to win rings. So why in the hell would he even consider Detroit? No team in the league is built to (or nearly as committed) to win as consistently as we do. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just lying to themself.

Yes they will sink back into the cellar of the AL West. They have a great core of guys in Hamilton, Cruz and Young. Young rising stars in Andrus, Kinsler, CJ Wilson, Hunter/Holland and Feliz. If you add Cliff Lee to that, there is no reason to think this team can't win multiple championships.
