F'n sick play
When you are a fan of "lots" of teams, then I guess the Nets may sound crappy.I read a newspaper article that said the Nets submitted paperwork for a name change. I hope they can do it, the Nets is a crappy name. They said the change won't take place til 2012-2013 season.

I don't see how the Blazers didn't agree to getting Wilson Chandler for Rudy. Wilson is a good player. Thus far, new Portland general manager Rich Cho has declined every trade offer that has been presented.
A league source told ESPN.com that in late June, several teams with draft picks in the teens offered to send their pick to Portland for Fernandez, but the Blazers -- who were being run by then-general manager Kevin Pritchard -- declined.
The Celtics and Bulls have since offered their No. 1 picks in 2011, the source said, and the Knicks have offered shooting guard Wilson Chandler. But with more than a month remaining until the start of NBA training camps, Cho is waiting to see what else becomes available.

Beast.
The agent for Rudy Fernandez says the Trail Blazers swingman doesn't want to return to the NBA.
Fernandez has two years left on his contract with Portland and is willing to sit them out because he would prefer to play in Europe.
Portland general manager Rich Cho says the team has looked at several possible trades involving Fernandez, but none have made sense for the team.

Rudy Fernandez of the Portland Trail Blazers has been fined $25,000 for public statements detrimental to the NBA.
The statements concerned Fernandez’s desire to be traded or released by the Trail Blazers.
