The Indianapolis Colts received a scare Friday when Pro Bowl tight end Dallas Clark was unable to finish practice after injuring his left leg while running a pass route, the Indianapolis Star reported.

On Saturday morning, Colts coach Jim Caldwell declared Clark out for Sunday night's preseason opener against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, but Caldwell is optimistic Clark will return to the field soon.

"Just got a bit of a little tweak," Caldwell said. "He won't play in the game obviously, but he'll be back soon."

Glad to hear it isn't anything serious. We need Clark.

I find it odd that we havent heard much leading up to the season opener,
but I'd rather hear no news then bad news.
