NBA TV will announce key nationally broadcasted games for the 2010-21 NBA season Tuesday at 7 p.m.

In the past, the league would just release the schedule in a memo, but in the age of TV specials (i.e.The Decison), everything has become an event. So in a special program, NBA TV will reveal which teams will be featured during ESPN and TNT's opening week coverage, as well as Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day matchups.

One source told Starting Blocks that the Miami Heat will open the season at The Q against the Cleveland Cavaliers. If that's true, it will be like the Baltimore Ravens first game in Cleveland against the new Browns.

NBA.com will exclusively announce the full 2010-11 regular season schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 10.

In other news, despite selling out of season tickets, working for the Miami Heat cost many their jobs

The NBA won't release its 2010-11 schedule until Tuesday, but the Orlando Magic are expected to open the regular season in their new arena against Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and the Miami Heat, Don Muret of SportsBusiness Journal reports.

The season-opening Heat-Magic game will be played on Thursday, Oct. 28, and broadcast on TNT.
Don Muret of SportsBusiness Journal said that.. idk we'll see

I am <Censored>ing tired of LeBron, I hope he gets slammed him into the hardwood when he tries to step into the paint EVERYTIME. Like 1990 Knick style of basketball.

cleveland/miami is boring
only juicy for like a few minutes

orlando/cleveland is sexy. in a sold out new arena too. cool

as for the lakers, im not 100% sure obviously, and we'll find out tomorrow, but i think they'll be playing the Thunder

or maybe Washington.
Those are my 2 guesses

why Washington?
John Wall's debut on the big stage.
last year the Clips played the Lakers, was supposed to be Blake Griffin's debut
and the year before it was Greg Oden's NBA debut on opening day in L.A.

#Cavs will host LeBron and Heat on Dec. 2. Game will be on TNT, sources say.

May not matter but #Cavs get Heat on back-to-back on Dec. 2 while CLE off night before. League helping as much as it can.
