Eddie House has agreed to a two-year contract with the Miami Heat, agent Mark Bartelstein confirmed Thursday.

House will receive about $2.8 million over two seasons, which is the veterans' exception. There is a player option in the second season.

``It's just a great fit,'' Bartelstein said. ``This guy had a great relationship with the Heat before. And he's still one of the most dynamic guys coming off the bench at hitting big shots in big moments. He's the best in the league at what he does.''

Great signing by the Heat, House is an excellent clutch shooter and hes got a swagger about him that perfectly fits this team. A great spark off the bench is just what the Heat need and they get that with House and Mike Miller.

Pugz pretty much summed my opinion up?

Is he gonna be the backup point or two?

Does he really NEED to do much more than shoot?

Exactly my thoughts. That's really all they are going to bring him in for, just shoot the basketball well. He has shown he can do that, effectively.

Shoot TMac can still shoot the ball well to, but he probably wants more money.

Overall I think its a good signing. Funny how House always finds his way on a championship contender.
