Tampa Bay's Matt Garza has thrown a no-hitter as the Rays beat the Detroit Tigers 5-0 on Monday night in Tampa.

Details to follow.

Congrats to him. Maybe if we had people who could hit besides Jackson and Cabrera crap like that wouldn't happen.

3rd one of the year involving the Rays somehow lol

See, they're happening all over. No hitters are the new trend in the MLB. Pretty soon, every team will have one this season. They weren't lying when they said this is the year of the pitcher.

So far this season, 60 percent of the no-hitters in the majors (3 out of 5) have involved the Rays. ... One out of every 33 Rays games this year has been a no-hitter ... Four of the last six no-hitters going back to 2009 have involved the Rays ... Finally, one of them was pitched by a Rays' pitcher.

Nothing was better than being at Buffalo Wild Wings last night with a bunch of Tigers fans at the bar. I was wearing my Crawford shirt and having a blast talking <Censored> to all of them, most of them guys I work with.

They all got giddy once Cabrera got to the plate in the second inning, I lol'd when he got K'd.

Great achievement for Garza! Didn't watch the game but caught a few highlights and he was just simply dealing.

Congratz to Garza, I like his stuff. Also been to Tropicana Stadium and its a very nice place. If only the Mets would record a no-hitter.....

maybe someday.
