oh and I need to write about KENLEY JANSEN

Dodgers just called him up and he is amazing.
4k's his first 6 batters

he's only been pitching since July 2009.
Flame Thrower from Curacao

Did any of you watch the 2009 WBC?
remember the cinderella dutch team?
he was their catcher.

Got his first save today.
and Kershaw said he was the first guy who caught him once he was drafted.

<3 Im in love with him

I saw him pitch today. Wow his fastball has a lot of movement to it. Just nasty.

This home stand should put us away from playoff contention with a series against the cardinals and then the diamondbacks.

Tigers outfielder Magglio Ordonez's future with the team has been clouded by an injury over the weekend.

Ordonez is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks with a broken ankle, meaning he won't reach the number of starts or plate appearances needed to activate a $15-million option for 2011.

"He's not going to click his option," president and general manager Dave Dombrowski said.

"He's done a tremendous job for us -- I mean fantastic. But we have a lot of guys that are free agents at the end of this year, and we'll have to tackle all of them and see how our club fits together for the future."

sucks for his injury. but thank god, his ass shoulda been gone last season.

Pugz, we will re-sign Magglio after this season. I'm almost positive.

Olney reports the Tigers could be in serious contention to land a heavy hitter, and Kansas City's Jose Guillen could be strongly considered. He also said there were Tigers scouts watching Philadelphia's Jayson Werth over the weekend. Do you like the idea of bringing on board a two-month rental? And, at what cost?

MLB.com's Bill Ladson also reports the Tigers have "great interest" in Washington slugger Adam Dunn. Dunn was previously named as a possible suitor in Chicago, but the White Sox would reportedly have to include Gordon Beckham or Carlos Quentin in a package, which doesn't seem likely. White Sox general manager Ken Williams still hasn't heard back from Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo, but it doesn't look promising for them.
Go get them, stop sitting around.

I find it funny how every year there are rumors going around that Jorge Cantu is being coveted by the Giants...

Sounds like the Mets are close to firing some coaches on the team. Our Gm was really ambigious with his statements and I think if we lose this series against the Cardinals our hitting coach will be fired.

Yeah that is what I meant we will bring him back for a much lower cost haha.

I've always wanted Dunn too. I was talking to my friend about that yesterday, how he and Miggy would be one of the best 1-2 combos in the game.

We need to get:
Jose Guillen
Mike Lowell
Adam Dunn/Jayson Werth

And we are golden hah.

Tonight is the same match up as the game years ago when the Indians beat the Yankees 22-0. Westbrook vs Vazquez, now lets repeat that score lol
