If the Tigers are going to acquire right-hander Dan Haren from the Diamondbacks, they'll have to part with young pitchers Jacob Turner and Andrew Oliver.

Buster Olney of ESPN tweeted Arizona's desires on Saturday.

Baseball America rated Turner as Detroit's top prospect prior to the 2010 season.
We aren't going to trade Turner.

Yeah not even worth it for the tigers no matter how good haren can be. Apparently turner is like verlander with better control. With magglio out, I think the tigers are gonna need another bat lol.

With Magglio, Guillen, and Inge out we need a outfielder, 3B, SS, and 2B lol.
As well as our need for a starting pitcher.
We are royally ###### pretty much.

Just like the Mets, sad to see teams with so much talent get screwed over so badly.

Interest in Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell continues to grow as the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline approaches.

The Tigers are interested in Lowell, according to a source.

Detroit placed third baseman Brandon Inge on the disabled list with a fractured left hand on July 20.

"Tigers are interested," the source said. "Not sure how serious the interest since Inge's injury is not as severe as they thought."

Might as well bring Lowell in. We can move Boesch to RF, put Damon in LF.
Then have Lowell at 3B, but when Inge comes back we can just move Lowell to DH.

I'd love Haren, but not for Turner.

Boesch's slump is <Censored>ing killing me.
<Censored> the ASW, Boesch was the hottest hitter in the league before that <Censored>.

He won AL ROTM for 2 consecutive months. It's apparent he has great hitting talent.

Never said he didn't but he wasn't gonna stay around .350 forever. Only 3 players are around .350 right now in the MLB.
