Minnesota has sent Al Jefferson to the Utah Jazz for two future first-round draft picks and the salary-cap trade exception, according to a source.

Utah gained the trade exception in the sign-and-trade deal that sent Carlos Boozer to Chicago.

Love the deal for the Jazz. Now they can stay a middle of the pack team in the West come playoff time

Great deal for the Jazz IMO. Immediately replaces the loss of Booze Man.

Yeah, great grab. Now they need to keep Wes Matthews and pick up a few other key players...maybe Raja Bell returning to the Jazz

Great move to replace Booz

But possibly says something about their confidence in Millsap?

Unless they plan on putting AlJeff at center and Millsap at PF I really dont see they point in this move....

Unless they planned on moving Okur like Mexi said, and we're in the market for a shooting bigman, but he isnt worth Curry and DubC IMO.

That's what I was thinking might happen.

Good move by the jazz. It will be interesting to see how well he does with DWill.

Now if that works out and their able to play well off one another then IMO the Jazz just got better then they were with Boozer.

I havent seen a whole lot of AlJeff but Millsap plays down low and is physical, if he and Jefferson could play the hi-lo then this is a much better team.

jefferson plays high but can go low. i think milsap is still off the bench though. this keeps them up in the standings.

Great replacement for Boozer, and a great deal for Utah.
