LOL...

Seven-footer Johan Petro has reached agreement with the New Jersey Nets on a three-year, $10 million contract, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

After two seasons with the Denver Nuggets, Petro, 24, will now play behind New Jersey’s burgeoning young center Brook Lopez. -LINK

Good bye Zoubek. We need a real PF next, then we'll have plenty of depth.

Nets have made some real head scratching signings.. I like the Morrow one but this and Outlaw are bad.

If everyone wasn't getting overpaid this offseason, I would agree.

Wow now I just feel bad for the Nets. They lost out on every big key free agent, its a good thing Prokorov said that they will win a championship in 5 years or else they would be screwed.....

Beats paying a medical anomaly who can't flourish without a PG 100 million dollars, all of which is guaranteed. STAT is hardly better than Lee, and I guarantee that we are better than the Knicks this years.

I heard that the Knicks will also be changing their logo for the upcoming season:

Actually Amare won rookie of the year before Steve Nash joined the Suns. So he has had success without a great PG. Second, as you mentioned in this thread everyone has been overpaid so Amare was no exception. Finally, although Amare might not be head and shoulders better than Lee, he brings that star power and attention that we have lacked, that your team wont have for a while. I for some reason dont like that logo as much as numbers:

0-18

12-70

Care to remind me where 2 of those 12 wins came from? If I recall, Marbury (an all-star PG at the time) was on that team the year that STAT won ROY.

I guarantee the Knicks win more games than the Nets. Wanna make a bet on it?

A sig bet. If I win you have to wear a certain sig that I want and if you win I have to wear a sig that you want for an extended period of time. Or an avatar, it doesnt matter to me.
