Why didn't he deserve it from the Hawks? He lead us to back to back 50 win seasons and 2nd round appearances thats better then what Wade and Bosh did for their franchises so why shouldn't JJ have gotten a max deal from us? He's a superstar by the logic you gave.

But NVM I really don't want to bother you with another Hawks arguement tbh.
I don't mean the Hawks, I meant the fact the Hawks could offer him a <Censored>load more than any other team. Not the fact it was your team.
He doesn't deserve the amount the Hawks gave him, but is the amount that he would of got from NY.

Well here I would have to disagree with you. Amar'e left Phoenix, can't that be seen as a "betrayal"? LeBron did what was best for him. Btw, I really don't think JJ would have stayed "loyal" to the Hawks unless that cash register didn't go off and the Hawks made it rain on him.
Heck Naw lol Amare made it clear he was leaving Phoenix months ago...

And whats done is done so..

I think this whole summer of 2010 was probably the most over hyped thing in sports history... The top three all went to the same team, Boozer/Stoudemire went to CHI/NYK and pretty much everyone else re-signed. Lame.

I'm done arguing. You guys are giving LeBron way too much love for his decision. I'll decide after next season..

Well yeah. LeBron did make it clear that he wanted to win. I remember from the season before all the stuff about LeBron leaving to NY after not shaking hands with Dwight and that interview with the Yanks hat on. I think this is probably the most hyped up thing I have seen in my 18 years of living. This is ridiculous.

I agree with this, but it's still not over. There are a couple good free agents out there that can really help out growing teams. For those who didn't get anything great out of this deal, well I got to tell you... there's always next year :)

All I'll say tonite is, he is who I always said he was: Prince. Robin. Yankee-Cowboy fan who always thought he was doing Cleveland a favor.

That's crazy, it's even on the Cavs official website too. Now I'm losing respect for the Cavs organization on the way their owner is taking this.

I have no problem with him going to Miami. He spent 7 years playing for the hometown Cavs and what does he got to show for it? Nothing. Miami is the best place for him to win a championship whether you like it or not. With that being said, the way he did it I don't like. An hour special on ESPN and never having a formal sit down with the Cavs organization to at least thank them for the 7 years they spent doing whatever he wants? He let his ego get to him and instead slapped both Cleveland and Akron in the face.
As I said before, I'm perfectly fine with him leaving but it's the way he did it I don't like. I still like Lebron and will support him in Miami but he's lost a little respect from me today.

Atlanta only won 50 games once, and Dwyane Wade led Miami to an NBA championship. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?
