First off, I grew up in Jordan era and never was Mike in a position to even think about playing for another team. Jordan always had the right pieces in place and even if his supporting cast wasn't the greatest, the man was on a level of his own. Who the f_ck else could win an NBA title with Luc Longley as their biggest man?? Jordan was a pop culture icon, the only player to ever be bigger than the game itself...there will never be another like him. Horrible comparison, I have never and will never advocate comparing any player to "his Airness".

I already pointed out that Kobe was never in a position to leave the Lakers. Los Angeles stood by him during all the rape allegations and his immediate priority was to rebuild his image, a task certainly much easier in the 1 city that hadn't turned their back on him. Don't for 1 minute make the mistake of think that Kobe stayed a Laker b/c he really wanted to stay a Laker. Remaining in LA was the right choice for a lot of reasons but I would argue that if Kobe never stuck his "d" in some loopy-ass high school broad, during a wild night in Eagle, CO...then he could very well be playing for the Bulls right now.

You could argue alot of things. You definitely can't compare LeBron to MJ now that he's taking the Pippen Role. And Jordan could have easily demanded a trade to the Pistons in 89 Heck there were 4 teams better then the Bulls in that time so he could have left and played for other teams. And what does Kobe's sex scandal have to do with him not leaving LA? LeBron sold out on his city for a chance at a ring. Point blank. Dude is a sellout. Turned his back on HIS team. I lost respect for the man.... And I thought JJ was gonna be a sellout LOL..

Money Wise. LOL Clearly yall have debated that this decision wasn't about the money. He could have went to any of those teams and had a better chance at a chip. Heck him and Dwight Howard imo would be a scarier duo then him and Chris Bosh. Even if he joined Kobe and Pau it would be a Clear cut championship winner rather than a team with 5 players currently and a big chemistry question mark..

I feel bad for Byron Scott as well.. Really sucks for him. I didn't really like the hire at first, but if he decides to not back out of this and stay on with the Cavs even after this, he will have my support 100%.
