All talk..thats Chad Ford saying he was a top 5, potentially top 3 pick outta hs. But whatever I proved my point
I clearly showed that none of the teams there even drafted a PG so why would they take one from HS?

and I still believe that Coach Cal develops these players or he wouldn't be so highly regarded.

In the 2007 nba draft....Derrick rose would've went ahead of mike conley. You can think Coach Cal is turning these Wall, Rose, Reke into top 5 guys all you want. But he's not.

But I've said my piece

I was talking about 09 and John Wall not 07 and D-Rose. I'm saying theres a reason they choose to play for Coach Cal. If they are so good they coudl play for ANY coach in the nation but they chose Coach Cal so I figure he's doing something right to get them there and something right to developed them...

The Atlanta Hawks offered Joe Johnson a six-year, $119 million contract Thursday morning, and sources close to the All-Star guard expect him to accept the max deal soon.

The Hawks moved quickly at midnight ET to try to secure their franchise star and offered the contract that Johnson’s agent Arn Tellem sought from the organization. Sources say ownership OK’d the max offer and general manager Rick Sund delivered it in Los Angeles.

After receiving the Hawks’ offer, Johnson met with a contingent from the New York Knicks that included coach Mike D’Antoni, Johnson’s former coach with the Phoenix Suns. Knicks GM Donnie Walsh didn’t attend.

The Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks were pushing for meetings with Johnson on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles where they could discuss possible sign-and-trade scenarios. The Chicago Bulls also have interest in Johnson.

John Wall would've been the #1 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft too. Cousins and Bledsoe's stock rose throughout the season (credit that to whatever you want). But Wall would have been #1 without Calipari.

Al Jefferson has requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves tried to move Al leading up to the NBA Draft. Two teams that have shown serious interest include the Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls.

The Bucks and forward Drew Gooden have agreed to terms on a five-year, $32 million contract, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Milwaukee struck the deal early in order to fortify their frontcourt.

They are still trying to retain John Salmons.

On Thursday night, Joe Johnson told the Knicks that the maximum-salary contract offer that the Hawks made him does not yet include a sixth season.

"The key words are 'not yet,'" a Knick official told Frank Isola.

Chris Paul may want a trade out of New Orleans, according to a source. William Wesley began trying to create movement in terms of a trade involving Wesley last week.
