Argue at what results. Wall, Cousins, Rose, Reke could've played for a community college and still would've been lotto picks.
Heck nah lol. Community College players don't get any shine. They wouldn't have got into the draft at all at CCs

I understand that but some guys just aren't really great at school they have great talent but just aren't good at school overall.
i graduated with a 2.6 from an alternative high school. im not good in school, but i know if i have a full ride im going to try and get the best grades i can to make the school and myself look that much better.

Doesn't matter.. He can go into recruits houses and show the track record of players that have been drafted out of his teams, and how high. Not to mention he can point out how Daniel Orton came off the bench, played horrible and still was a first round pick.

My point was those guys were nba talents before cal. Wall almost tried to enter the draft after HS..Greg had Wall fever back then. They didnt need cal. It was clear they were nba players in hs.

I don't think that was the point. I believe he was trying to say that Calipari being their coach had no difference in them being picked as high as they were because they were all legit lottery talent out of high school.

I respect that. But his dream was to get to the league and he made it so I can't be that mad at him.

Pretty much..then we arent even mentioning Wes/Nike/Bron. Cal is a freaking recruiting machine.

He was rumoured Top 10 talent but wasn't pick high because of his contract situation in Greece. Could work out very nicely for Minnesota.

I'm saying Cal's job is to develop them and prepare them for the league and he dd that

Qyntel Woods, Kedrick Brown, Shawn Kemp - all CC players who weren't nearly as hyped as those 3 coming out of college.

any person who plays the game of basketball has a dream of going pro. if i had my chance, like i said; i would go to school and try hard, i would only leave once my stock has gotten to a point where i thought it would be best for me to leave.

with that gpa, he NEEDED to leave or he wouldnt play next season.

Here is where there is a miscommunication. There was no developing those guys. They were league ready from the time they stepped on a college campus. Only guys you can say cal got to the league is prolly CDR, Bledsoe, J-Dorsey, and arguably Orton..but hes living off AAU rep.

and it worked out for him

top 20 pick
on a team with an injury prone, old, starter
he could be getting a ton of PT
