Sometime today the #Cavs are expected to contact Brendan Haywood. There is a chance of a double sign-and-trade to Dallas with Shaq. less than 20 seconds ago via web

Ha yeah because I don't watch basketball or anything. I'm 100% certain that my basektball knowledge and understanding is at least three times what yours is, so I'm not going to bother getting into silly little arguments with you about your biased comments trying to defend the back-alley homies and thugs known as the Atlanta Hawks. But according to you, I'll bite my tongue in 3 years when they stay on their rise and finish the season with an undefeated record of 82-0. Silly me.
Hey, I can't hate you for having your own point of view. Like I said your opinion is fine I just don't agree with it. You can try to belittle my knowledge of bball all day but honestly I don't even think thats going to make you feel better about this. And come on CC "back alley homies"? "thugs"? Spare me the racial slurs here. You're better then this. Your retaliation to what I said is to insult me and the Hawks? fine with me but don't try to sneak diss my race here thats just immature. It's okay that you don't like the Hawks. You've made that rather obvious, all I'm saying is that I can't take your opinion seriously when you know as well as I do that I know more about the players on this team then you do.

Lol I'm not trying to belittle you or your race in any way. That's all I'll say on that matter. Anyways, you may watch more Hawks games than me, sure. But do you know more about the abilities and skills of the players on the Hawks? That's debatable. I don't think you realize how much I study the game of basketball, college and professional. So because you watch the Hawks the most, that makes you right? Heck no it doesn't. Whether you realize it or not, Josh Smith will NEVER be a superstar in the NBA. Neither will anyone currently on the Hawks roster. I'm sorry. The Hawks, as far as I am concerned, have peaked with their current roster. If I'm wrong, so be it. But there's no way they win 53 games next year. And they have a ZERO percent chance of ever winning a title with their current roster.

i normally never agree with cc, but as of late and with this argument i need to. he's been right. josh is not a leader and never well be, jamal is a chucker whos better off the bench. al wont be a star or a leader either. jj does lead that team, but he falls asleep at time.

CC is 10000% right.

As a Knicks fan, I know damn well what player Jamal Crawford is. One day he'll make you think of how great of a talent he is, scoring and ball handling. The next game, he'll go 2/19 with 8 turnovers. He is best suited to come off the bench and be a Ben Gordon of the Bulls type. He won't ever lead a team outside of Rucker park... Josh Smith is an absolute thug, and his attitude is horrible. He blocks tons of shots, but his scoring and rebounding are both just a product of the team. He can't create for himself, and if they had a legit big man rebounder he wouldn't contribute rebounding either. Mike Bibby is a piece of crap PG, what can he do at this point of his career? And Horford is an alright 4th option who is completely undersized at center. WITH Joe Johnson they won't compete. Without him? Borderline playoffs.

The Atlanta Hawks were set to officially extend a six-year, approximately $120 million offer to retain free agent Joe Johnson at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, the first salvo in the most anticipated free-agent negotiating period in NBA history, a person with knowledge of the offer told CBSSports.com.

Your opinion. Like I said it's fine for you to say that but just because I disagree doesn't make me biased. I just don't believe in the same things that you do. When you say things like "NEVER" I can tell you don't watch players as much as me. I don't use the term "superstar" loosely so I doubt I said Josh would be one. You've made it evident you don't like the Hawks I'm just saying that I've heard the same talk plenty of times before and those are usually the same people that are proven wrong. If you understand bball so much more then me you sure make it tough to tell the way you explain yourself at times. I'm not asking you to believe what I believe, I know the Hawks need to make changes. Every team in the NBA that didn't win the championship knows they need to make changes to their current rosters. And if you don't like black people thats ok man just ignore everything I say and try to refrain from calling us "thugs" and "back alley homies".

im sure everyone knows here im not into slurs or anything, but josh smith does indeed remind of a "thug". a lot of the nba's players do, but josh does act out a lot and the term could be thrown around about him.

$tunna, I think it's pretty telling when multiple people are coming out and saying that I am right.

What exactly makes him a thug then? Tattoos? Getting a tech here and there? If I complain about these things am I considered a thug aswell?

CC, You can pour syrup on a chair and 20 people can say it's a pancake. That doesn't make it a pancake.
