actually if chicago doesnt wanna go for lebron or wade they can look into jj and either bosh/amare/boozer and they will be a lot better than atlanta..
doubt it. First they got clear the cap space. I doubt they get two guys and end up winning 53+ games their first season. Unless one of those guys is Dwade or LeBron. But JJ? No. Alot better? You're joking.

All chicago has to do is move james johnsons contract and they can have enough money for another max deal. But thats just what Ive been told.

I'd have to see who else we add first. If we got Rudy to replace JJ and brought in Brendan. I think we'd be pretty even tbh.

Who knows....bottomline is that a lot of moves are gonna be made tonight based off of free agency. And in the end...bron is gonna dick over a organization.

in the regular season yeah
Lol you act like the Hawks are a good team. They were a fluke regular season team and would've gotten bounced Round 1 had Bogut not been injured. They're just a bunch of undisciplined, back-alley homies. Chicago with Rose, Deng, Noah, and potentially another big FA would be a hell of a lot better.

LOL You are an avid hater. smh man fluke teams don't win 50+ games. We got out of the first round twice in a row. You can say "if" this and "if" that but that don't mean ish cause we made it. How far has Chicago gotten in the playoffs? How many regular season games have they one? At least we have some undisciplined All-Star caliber players. They're isn't much of a reason to leave tbh. Unless they get LeBron they aren't going to win anything major. Even with LeBron Noah isn't even better then Al Horford so how is he supposed to handle Diwght or even Perk or KG for that matter?

Teague<Rose
Marv=Deng
Josh>Taj
Al>Noah
Jamal> Any player on the Bulls Bench
ATL More Money> Chicago Less Money
ATL More Chemistry> Chicago New Team and Coach
53 Wins> 41

What is it I'm missing here? The only things you can say that would lure him to go have "IF" written in them. IF Lebron, IF Dwade, IF A big man. What IF Lebron stays in cleveland, JJ stays in ATL, Dwade Stays in Miami. Then What? All they could get is a good big man IF that. ATL made JJ's career idc how much you try to undermine our team, we still have steady increases in winning and developing players. You can hit me with the "IF"s all day but til I get some facts idc.

Lakers' Brian Shaw, Cavaliers to talk about coaching position

The Lakers continued to be a franchise in flux, as Phil Jackson mulled his future, Brian Shaw received permission to interview with the Cleveland Cavaliers and, almost a footnote, two players were selected in the second round of Thursday's draft.

Jackson takes off Friday for his Montana summer home, where he will make a decision on his future by the end of next week, but if he retires the pool of L.A. candidates might shrink by one.

Shaw, a Lakers assistant coach the last five seasons, has been officially approached for an interview by Cleveland, The Times has learned, making this week even busier for the NBA champions. Cleveland needs to hire a head coach.

"They did call a couple of days ago and we did grant permission," Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak said. "Now it's up to Brian and Cleveland. All of our coaches' contracts run out at the end of the month anyway, so it is accurate."

Shaw, 43, spoke with Cavaliers representatives earlier this week and probably will fly to Cleveland next week for a face-to-face interview with the team's owner and front-office staff.

It has been reported that LeBron James has a strong interest in the triangle offense, something in which Shaw is well-versed because of his four years as a Lakers player who won three championships from 2000 to 2002. James is expected to become a free agent July 1, and there is no guarantee he'll return to the Cavaliers next season, even if Shaw lands the job.

I'm not saying the Bulls are better than the Hawks now. But with Joe Johnson, they sure are. LMFAO at you saying Marvin=Deng by the way. And LOL also at you saying Josh Smith is an all-star caliber player. There only all-star is Joe Johnson, and when he leaves, they wont even compete for a top 4 spot in the East anymore. Hope it was fun being swept out of the playoffs the past TWO years. But that's what you get for building your team around undisciplined players.

The Bulls won 41 games without a star player, with a young D-Rose, with only 2 real legitimate scorers. The Hawks franchise, as it stands right now, is going nowhere. They have no shot at a championship because there's no more pieces they can add. They've gone as far as he can go. So it's time for Johnson to jump ship to a team that, with him, is already better than Atlanta IMO, and with another FA is certainly better. IDK if they'll get LeBron, but I'm sure they'll get someone.

LOL You're telling me JJ makes they're team better then us? LOLOLOLOL dude JJ has been the main reason we have trouble in the post season. Why do you think we got swept? Our star player losses consistency in the post season EVERY YEAR. Thats why we had trouble with the Bucks and the Heat. And You do know that Al Horford made the All star game this year. I think that makes him an all star player. Josh smith was a snub. EVERYONE with any knowledge of the him knew that.

Who are these undisciplined players you are talking about? You talk like you haven't watched a hawks game since 2007. I say Marv and Luol are equal cause Marv could put up the same stats if we used him as much as the Bulls use Deng. Your saying there are no more pieces to add. I think JJ returning, JChillz returning and picking up a big like Brendan Haywood would be all moves that improve our team. If you think JJ can join the Bulls and without adding any other players they'll win 53+ games, You gotta be under the influence some sort of drug. Not to mention we'll now have a different offense that isn't iso dominated. I don't see how you can say a team that has improved it's record every year since 04 and finished this year with 53 wins is undisciplined. I could understand blaming Mike Woodson but hating on our team doesn't make sense.

You act like the Hawks have personally hurt your feelings or something. If we suck so much then why does everyone want JJ? He clearly can't lead a team if our team is "undisciplined". Can't produce in the playoffs if we got swept in the semis "TWO" times. Can't win games because all 53 of our wins were a "fluke". If they are so many problems with the team he was the leader of then why would he even get offered max money from chicago? New Jersey? Anyone? Wouldn't it be those teams building with an undisciplined piece?

The reason the Hawks are undisciplined is because they only have 2 players with any sense of basketball IQ - Bibby and Johnson. All the rest are just undisciplined back-alley homies who have raw talent and athleticism. There's no way Horford should've made the all-star game; only happened because the bench is required to have a Center on it and David Lee was listed as a PF on the ballot. And Smith had no right being in the game.

There's no shot in hell Marvin could average 17-18 a game on the Bulls. He'll never be that kind of guy anywhere, unless you send him out to Golden State where anyone can do that. I don't think the Bulls by just adding Johnson would win 53 games, but that has to do with the fact that I thought the Hawks' 53 wins were a fluke. Could they win 46-50 games? Yes. Can the Hawks win that much without Joe Johnson? No. This year, the Hawks wouldn't have been a playoff team without him. In no way did I say Johnson doesn't deserve that money. Like I said earlier, he's one of two true BASKETBALL PLAYERS on the Hawks. Not an athlete playing basketball, a basketball player.

Have you ever watched the Hawks? We're not undisciplined tbh. At times they can be a little out of control but never for very long. You can't say Al didn't deserve that spot. They could have just put Noah in but Al deserved in more because his contributions lead to the team winning. Back Alley Homies? Heck you mean Back Alley Homies? Just cause they can dunk better then most teams does not make them a team that can only do dunks. If you believe all 53 wins were a fluke then why even argue? Just say you hate the Hawks and I get the point.

I don't think you realize that stat sheet wise Josh Smith is the closest thing this league has to LeBron. You're telling me that a player averaging 16 points 9 rebs 4 dimes 2 blocks and 1 steal doesn't deserve to make it over a player averaging 18 points 4 rebs 3 dimes and 1 steal. Josh Smith finished second in the DPOTY voting. I think that makes him more then a Back Alley Homie. Al Horford basically averaged a double double this year, which would make him more then a back alley homie with no Bball IQ to me. Jamal Crawford won sixth man of the year. I don't have many back alley homies that have done that. Our team went 5-1 vs the Lakers and Celtics this year. Which is kind of odd for a team of back alley homies with no bball IQs.

Nope not at all. Hard work pays off, which is why we keep getting better. Every year people like you say its the end and that we won't get any better then this, I even start to believe that sometimes. Then every year they come back and surprise me. And if we're talkin money you KNOW JJ is stayin in ATL. I read that basically a max deal from us would be 119 mil over 6 yrs in comparison to what everyone else can offer which is around 92 mil over 5 yrs.

Lol there's no arguing with you. You can't see the flaws in your own team. I'll tell you what: when the Hawks make a Conference Finals, I'll admit I was wrong. Until then, I'm right. The Hawks are an undisciplined team loaded with back alley homies and will never be serious threats in the East. The end.
