That was a foul. You cannot impede the progress of the other player. It's as simple as that. And if you wanna go back and <Censored> about that, it's history. If you watched the game against Slovakia, there was a lot of bull<Censored> in that game and it was mainly directed against Italy.
Throwing down our player after he is going for the ball? No call. Punching Iaquinta in the back of the head before you touch the ball? No call. Laying down after whistles in stoppage time and the goalie constantly faking injuries? Pure bull<Censored>.

I really don't want to talk about this game at length. I'm still mad.
