According to a report from Ric Bucher, the Cleveland Cavaliers have contacted the Toronto Raptors about initiating a sign-and-trade deal to acquire Chris Bosh. Bosh is set to become a free agent July 1, as is LeBron James whom the Cavs are working to retain.

Olympiakos of Greece may be trying to push former Hawks forward Josh Childress out the door, according to redplanet.gr.

Childress has another season on his contract Olympiakos, but he can opt before July 15. His contract for next season is worth more than four million euros and Olympiakos may be looking for a way to get rid of Childress because of a change of tax laws.

76ers general manager Ed Stefanski traded center Samuel Damelbert on Thursday, but he's not necessarily done dealing.

"After you come off of a 27-win season, you got to be aggressive," Stefanski said. "We are going to keep looking to see if we can tweak this even more. Yeah, we have to be more active."

He wouldn't name players he is willing to part with or positions he wants to upgrade through a trade.

"I don't know what positions or big needs [need attention], but we will just see the players that we have and what we can get back for them if it makes us better," Stefanski said. "We are not going to make a trade for the sake of making a trade. [Friday], we made a trade that made basketball sense to us."

I really need Rudy Gay to sign with the Clippers.

My dad has a good friend.
turns out, his friend has a friend who is Rudy Gay's father-in-law. holy cow
his daughter married Rudy Gay. !!!!

I met the guy last week.
He said he got some nice tickets when the Grizz played in Portland

he said that if Rudy signs with the Clips, he would totally hook us up

I nearly fainted

I've never sat court side either. Best I had was lower level suites, my friend is a ball boy for the Cavs and it was his birthday. He won't hook me up with a job tho lol

Yeah they were awesome, like 85 dollars I believe.
Daye was like staring in my direction every timeout lol, it was funny lol.

During the Pistons open practice (not sure if every team does this), I sat as close as you could to court-side, so like a few more rows forward. I got like half the team to wave, and caught Kwame's headband. Pretty much the highlight of my life lol.

Might of been a terrible season to be a Piston fan, but it was best year in terms of going to their games and such lol.

85 bucks for that close. wow
Laker tickets are way expensive

and i know what you mean about the open practice
Clippers did that a few years ago. I sat a little closer than where you were sitting, but on the opposite side. the side we see on TV

court looked small
Corey Maggette was balling. it was cool. and free

Yeah Pistons suck, ours are cheap lol.

Yeah ours is free too, definitely a fun thing to go to, was totally worth it. Definitely going again next year.

i sat like 6 rows from the pistons bench for the first half of the nets/pistons two years back. me/ex gf and my friends seen the seats open during the shoot arounds, went down there and never got asked to move back :p

everyone thinks an nba court is so big. i got a full sized court in front of my house.

Open practice? Is it an actual practice or is it more like a scrimmage?

Typically they practice at their practice facility, but they hold one full practice at the Palace, open to the fans for free.

IDK, it seemed like a light ass practice (though they tried to tell us it was a legit practice so we had to behave and let them go to work lol), so I'm assuming they go pretty soft lol. But they did have a scrimmage, like 2 quarters worth.

oh, cause the Cavs have some full scrimmage with the players every year they open up to the fans, but haven't heard of the having an open practice.
