Team: New York Yankees

Pitching: B+

With a 3.80 average ERA through 64 games, the New York Yankees are ranked ninth amongst the entire league, which isn't bad. Javier Vazquez, and some relievers have brought the ERA up, but it's still not too shabby.

Batting: A+

The New York Yankees are first in runs, aswell as on base percentage, and tied for first in average. They are forth in hits, and 7th in home runs. Of course, that's only though 64 games.

Fielding: A+

The Yankees are nearly flawless, with a .990 fielding percentage, and have only allowed 25 errors throughout the season so far, second, just behind the Minnesota Twins. Lead by former Gold Glovers, Mark Teixeria, and Derek Jeter, the Yankees won't be exactly kicking the ball around.

Team: Mets

Pitching: B+ -- The pitching hasn't been great but some guys have stepped up. Santana and Pelfrey have been phenomenal, Santana just needs some offense behind him. Niese has been great and Dickey and Takahashi have done fairly well as well. K-Rod is shaky but ok, and the bullpen hasn't been too bad this year evidently.

Batting: C+ -- Tough call. Wright, Davis and Wright have really turned it up lately, and Barajas has been great for a late-addition to the roster in the offseason. The issue is positions like 2B, CF and RF. No idea how well Beltran will be when he gets back, and thats tough because nobody knows WHEN he will get back. Bay hasn't been great out in LF either yet but is on pace for over 20 HRs, which I'll take.

Fielding: C -- Wright makes good plays but also makes mistakes. Davis is phenomenal at 1B so far. Francouer has a great arm but bad range, as does Bay. Pagan has good range but not a great arm in CF.

are we talking about how they've played so far or "on paper"?

Jays have a really nice, young rotation, but inexperienced so you're going to obviously expect some inconsistensy. Marcum has really done a nice job being the leader and the ace of the rotation. Our bullpen hasn't really been that great but Shawn Camp has really stepped up and has done a great job being the go to guy in pressure situations.

Offense C+
The home runs have really been exciting but Jays are not getting on base enough and it's cost them a few games. Jays have a lot of streaky hitters and you could tell from their numbers.

Fielding B+
The Jays have been pretty good at defense. They commit a few errors here and there but they have been really with the glove. Our outfield defense wasn't supposed to be great but Lewis Wells and Bautista have been really steady out there. The midfield tandem of Hill and Gonzalez is also fun to watch.

For the Mets i would give them an A- for pitching B for hitting and B- for defense. If they continue this hot hitting streak I might bump them up to a B+.

exactly. sometimes relying on the long ball kills us because we dont hit it consistently

San Francisco Giants

Pitching: A-
- The Giants have a great trio at the front of the rotation, a decent #4 in Jonathan Sanchez, and a horribly inconsistent #5 and thats gotta change. Bring up Madison Bumgarner. The bullpen isn't doing as well as expected and they're blowing leads and giving up runs left and right but for the most part, thats only Guillermo Mota lol. Pitching is the best part of this team and thats their least conern because night in and night out, the pitching is getting it done.

Hitting: C-
- They have good hitters in Pablo Sandoval, Andres Torres, Buster Posey, and Freddy Sanchez. But the rest of the offense has to be more consistent. They also lack power and that hurts them in so many games. They need to pursue some power bats and maybe dangle some of that pitching.

Fielding: B
-Their fielding is good and they don't commit many errors.

Reds

Pitching:B-
Pretty much there lone bright spot of there 5 man rotation is Mike Leake. The best ERA on the rotation other than him is a 4.30! The bullpen is also not doing well, with a ERA of 4.96(as of 6-16). The birght spot in the pen is Arthur Rhodes, with a 0.29 ERA.

Hitting-A-
The Reds are hitting well, with 3 guys over .300 and then Jonny Gomes with a .293 and Ramon Hernandez with a .286. Jonny Gomes has been great at the plate, with 9 HR's and 49 RBI's. Scott Rolen has shown he does still have some in the tank, with 14 HR's and 45 RBI's, and Joey Votto has 14 HR's and 43 RBI's.

Fielding-A
Tied for 1st in the NL with a .990 Fielding Pct., there D is lead by multi time gold glovers Scott Rolen and Orlando Cabrera, and by other solid gloves in Jay Bruce, Joey Votto, and Brandon Phillips.

Minny Twins:

Pitching B-

Liriano and Pavano have been beast but I don't trust anybody else on our staff.

Hitting A

Span as leadoff, Hudson-Mauer-Morneau-Young have been great. Thome has been nice too.

Fielding A+

Fewest errors in the majors.
