Boston Fan Does Indeed Hit Odom During Game

Lakers forward Lamar Odom was hit by a projectile thrown by a fan as teammate Kobe Bryant shot a free throw with just 90 seconds to play in Game 5 of the Finals on Sunday night.

Asked afterward what it was, Odom said he thought it was a tiny vodka bottle, such as the ones that can be purchased on an airplane.

After the incident, the public address announcer in Boston used a stern voice to warn the crowd that throwing things onto the court is against the rules at TD Garden.
