Pads are 11 games over 500. Man how's that possible?

Their rotation isn't even that great lol. We'll see. I think Jays might give them a hard time though.

I think Fred Lewis is going to have a nice series since petco is huge and he has extra base hit power.

Mets get the sweep yesterday and our offense is really clicking right now. I think Johan will have a good game tonight since he is used to the ballpark in Cleveland and is familiar with the Indians. Im so glad the Braves face the Rays and the Phillies face the Yankees. Could set us up to take first place by the end of this week.

Tigers outfielder Johnny Damon has played with Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz in his career, but he believes Miguel Cabrera is better than both.

"No," Damon said when asked if Cabrera is up there with Rodriguez and Ortiz.

"He's in a class by himself. I haven't got to see (Albert) Pujols play too often, but what he's doing, especially in this ballpark ... this ballpark could be the only thing that keeps him from winning the Triple Crown. He's that good. The thing is, he still has a chance to be that Triple Crown candidate."

Damon says that because he knows Ortiz and A-rod took steroids.

WASHINGTON (AP)—More kudos for rookie sensation Stephen Strasburg(notes): He’s the National League player of the week.

The Washington Nationals’ hard-throwing righty was given the honor Monday. He is 2-0 with 22 strikeouts and a 2.19 ERA in two major league starts.

The 22 strikeouts were the most in the majors last week. Only Karl Spooner of the 1954 Brooklyn Dodgers has fanned more batters in his first two major league starts.

Strasburg has already supplied the Hall of Fame with a hat and a ball from his major league debut. He’s also read the Top 10 list on the “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

Strasburg beat Cleveland on Sunday despite walking five batters. He is next scheduled to pitch on Friday against the Chicago White Sox.
Are you kidding me.....

Mets face the Indians today. Indians have been rather bad this year so we should get another series win against them.

Nahh, we got this lol
We need this series very much because after that we face the Yankees, Tigers, and Twins which wont be easy. The good thing is that we face the Yankees and then the Tigers and Twins at home. So basically its a 9 game home stand after this Indians series.

As long as Carlos Santana hits some homers, I'll take the Ls.
