Yeah I mean it's nothing against either side I respect them both and their fan bases. I'm just saying from an outsiders viewpoint. There's no underdog, feel-good story, nothing new feeling about this. It's just meh Finals. This will not be memorable unless it goes to game 7 or the championship is won on a game winning shot or in overtime
At the same time, you can't hate these teams for being the best competitors and making it this far. They're in the finals for a reason...

see this is what i mean by the appeal. Like the teams and players involved in this series have both won a title. So neither teams fanbase really care. I mean if my team was 2 wins away from a championship I'd be going crazy. There's none of that appeal. It's like these teams and players don't care about who wins this as much as say a first time team. That's the appeal I'm talking about. I mean this is just another title for one of these organizations. It won't be historic.

I know I'm gonna get mostly negative comments to that but whatever. I'm just tired of the same teams.
I agree. +rep for this one.

I have to admit, Rondo is making this series fun to watch. He's so quirky with the ball, I love his style and his flare. Pierce is fat and overrated, only reason he's seen as a HOFer is because he steps up in big games but he just sucks now. KG is meh, he's hit or miss. Ray Allen is the definition of Helter Skelter. Ehh noone really stands out. Lakers are kinda boring. The Triangle never really has had exciting players...welll Rodman :D

I wish the refs would call rondo for a over the back and a carry every once and a while. Guy is a entertaining player no doubt but damn.

Lakers are a boring team to watch.. Only exciting player in this series is Rondo.
Rondo is exciting no doubt.

But I'd be lying if I said the last 3 mins wasn't exciting to watch. Especially D-Fish.

And I dont understand the hate..if something isnt exciting or fascinating to watch. Why watch it then? You feel like the lakers and boston battling for a title and kobe battling for his place among the greats exciting or historic. Dont watch it but dont try to reign on the guys that enjoy watching the games parade.

You dont like it...stern isnt forcing you to watch

Lack of jumper?

Did you not see him seal game 2 with a clean jumper?

It was a clutch jumper but be realistic.. He doesn't have a consistent one, it pretty bad. Don't know if there is a PG with a worse mid range/3pt shot then him.

One good jumper doesnt make him a great jump shooter.
He's not a jump shooter but he definately doesn't get enough credit for his jumper. Dude improves it consistently and yall act like he's shooting as much as Antoine Walker out there smh.

If Rondo had anything near a jumper he'd be the best PG in the NBA... People shouldn't be able to play 5 feet off of you.

Don't know why he has yet to get one either.. He has huge hands but whatever, its all about repetition. Maybe he just can't convert in game, but whatever. If he had a jumper he would be unguardable.

Dude is a triple double threat every night. Theres only about 4 or 5 players in the league with that trait.

Doesn't negate the fact he doesn't have a jumper. His rebounding numbers are kind of overrated anyway. He doesn't run out on the break, instead he flies into the paint getting defensive rebounds which can hinder his best attribute, running the team on the break.. Instead he sits back getting the rebounds and the defense is already back and set.
