Carlos Guillen goes deep. Back to back HRs.

Why can't they hit like this all the time?

Matt Cain>>>> Stephen Strasburg

Complete game SHUTOUT baby

7 hits and 5 Ks though. Its ok. 5-4 with a 2.11 ERA shouldn't happen...ever

You know I'm speaking the truth sheed lol

Everyone is hopping on his nuts like he did it to a team that isn't complete <Censored> LOL

When he faces the Braves and sends down 14, I'll apologize. But I just don't think he'll dominate every team that way.

Pirates are 23-35. 9-20 on the road...tied for the 2nd worst team in the NL

GTFO

Strasburg will be great but come on guys, don't label him the GOAT just yet...please

You hate on every young phenom..
I love Strasburg...who do I hate on?

I'm saying you guys are putting him up there with the best pitchers ever already and he played the Pirates...

It's not the fact he faces the Pirates.

It's the fact how he was the best pitching prospect in the last who knows how many years, his hype surrounding him, his dominance in the minors, and a dominate performance today.

Obviously not the best pitcher in the league after just one start, but this gives us reason to believe he will be one of the best shortly.

GOAT in training*

Obviously I was joking. He's a good prospect but realistically, he's just showing his future prowess right now

Rip, I agree with that because its on a more realistic level. Thats how I see it.

Dude is phenominal and should be for years to come, but I wanna see the Nats let him off the leash to see what he'll do when his count isn't limited and when he's not facing one of the worst teams in the league lol

William Posey then

He sucked today though. Only 1 for 3 with a run scored...off game for him. His average went down from .455 to .444

=(

I had wanted to catch some of the Nats/Pirates game but I was out. He beasted though.

And it's not the fact that he sent down 14 against the Bucs...its the fact that he did it with freakin electric stuff, from what I hear. THAT'S more impressive than 14 K's

Mets won with a walkoff HR by Ike Davis, dude is doing pretty well for it being just his rookie year. Now only 2 games back of the Braves.
