I like Beasley a lot. If I were the Nets I would have done this ASAP, considering they only want Dooling in return...
Why would we give Miami more CAP space? And if Miami is THAT desperate to get rid of him, there must be a catch. Thank God you're not a GM.Beasley might not of panned out that well but he is better than Dooling. Dumb for the Nets to turn this down. He still has loads of potential IMO.
Perhaps Detroit could be a player for him, if they are looking to trade him THAT bad. We need a big clearly.
1. No one wants to play for Miami. Have you heard anyone saying LBJ or Bosh are gonna go to Miami? No. And if Wade doesn't go back there, there sure as hell wouldn't be anyone else going there. If they do this deal they will still max out 1 deal and resign Wade. Then basically use that 4 million to sign a depth player. While NJ would I believe be able to still max out 2 contracts. Why would we give Miami more CAP space? And if Miami is THAT desperate to get rid of him, there must be a catch. You are probably one of the most least knowledgeable members on the entire site.
1. Wrong. If we take Beasley, that will hurt our CAP space. Why would we help Miami, especially since Wade isn't going anywhere.1. No one wants to play for Miami. 2. Thank God you aren't a GM. You are probably one of the most least knowledgeable members on the entire site. So don't act like I'm the idiot.
3. Beasley likely becomes your best player, which isn't saying much. You could argue Lopez is a better player, but I would look just as good if I played for the horrible Nets.
1. If you take Beasley you are still able to max a couple guys, and you have Beasley. If Wade goes back to Miami, they would still have enough to go after a guy like Bosh. Like I said that cash would go for a depth piece of the bench.1. Wrong. If we take Beasley, that will hurt our CAP space. Why would we help Miami, especially since Wade isn'"t going anywhere.
2. "When you insult the messenger and not the message, then you have lost the debate."
3. Lopez is a 20-10 player. And you're a Piston fan, you guys are set up to wallow in mediocrity for quite a while. You guys sucked ass too last season, so I wouldn't talk <Censored> if I rooted for Detroit pro-sports.

Better luck next time.
You are right. All hail NY sports.just drop it rip, the yankees are world series champs - we all fail

2. You said, "thank god you aren't a GM." Which implied that my knowledge for the NBA isn't good. So I retaliated by stating the fact that you are one of the least knowledgeable members on the board. So in fact I did insult the message, and once again you look like the bigger idiot.
3. Which is why I said you can argue he is better, but put on a better team he is maybe a 14-8 player, Kwame Brown caliber players would be a 15-8 guy for the Nets because they are that terrible. And never once did I mention the Pistons, or Detroit sports in a whole. So please take your own advice, "when you insult the messenger and not the message, then you have lost the debate."

Kleenex on.... oh wait this is a stupid line.
is not an insult in the prosperous and thriving state of Michigan?one of the least knowledgeable members on the board
Simple, if you aren't from NJ you are an idiot.Hahaha what does being a knowledgeable member have to do with Michigan?
LOL RIP WITH THE MAJOR PWNAGE.By the way, unless my resources are incorrect...NJ is one rank above Michigan in terms of economic struggling. So nice sarcasm when calling us thriving, when you are almost as bad.
Despite our struggles, we're still in the top 5 in the country for richest states in America.By the way, unless my resources are incorrect...NJ is one rank above Michigan in terms of economic struggling. So nice sarcasm when calling us thriving, when you are almost as bad.
That link shows the most millionaires in the state. Which really has no relevance to the fact if the state is thriving or not.Despite our struggles, we're still in the top 5 in the country for richest states in America.

BTW:
1. NY has the CAP to sign two MAX FA's. We don't as of now unless Humphries leaves (he won't) and we cut Dooling (likely).
2. I'm still waiting for you to prove that Kwame Brown would put up 15-8 over in NJ, please stop avoiding that.
Infamous: You jumped on the Thunder bandwagon, how can you live with yourself?
