The Nets have rejected a trade offer from the Heat that would have sent forward Michael Beasley to New Jersey for guard Keyon Dooling, according to ESPN's Ryen Russillo.

Miami doesn't consider Beasley a part of their future anymore and is even looking at lopsided trades in an effort to clear additional cap space.

Beasley might not of panned out that well but he is better than Dooling. Dumb for the Nets to turn this down. He still has loads of potential IMO.

Perhaps Detroit could be a player for him, if they are looking to trade him THAT bad. We need a big clearly.

Why? He is on his rookie contract, if it didn't work out we just buy him out or something lol.

Then that would be a waste of getting him lol.

Not if the asking price is Dooling caliber players.

It would be a low risk, high reward type move if it worked out well.

And who would we give up?

Wilcox, Bynum (S&T), Summers. Probably a few other dudes as well.

Lopez-Favors-Beasley would have been a nice front court for the future. I guess I'm one of the few people that thinks Beasley could actually still produce in the league. I think if he gets put in the right situation, he could live up to the hype coming out of K-State.

I am also one of the few. I think he has loads of potential still.

Raps should S&T Bosh andd trade him for Beasley. Idk if Raps fans would like that since he's had problems off the court.

It's not like dude has been a complete bust so far. He averaged 15 and 6 on 45% shooting which is good enough to be a starter on most teams.

I think his attitude might be the reason Miami wants to get rid of him. I'd love to see him in T-Dot.

Having him in Toronto would be nice, but rebounding numbers would be a problem since Bosh carried the load last year cause Bargs isn't great at it.
