I'm not sure what type of player he is, but I'd probably go with top 5 every year.

Top 5 every year. Too early to judge him as a HOFer.

If he is top 5 every year wouldn't that basically mean HOF? lol

Well JV is a top 5 pitcher in the AL every year, but he won't be a HOFer.

I guess if he meant top 5 in the whole MLB you could say that. Will ultimately be judged by his championships that he may or may not win.

Beyond the point..

However he was not only last year but he was in 2007 and 2006... Only bad year was 2008.

06 and 07 weren't bad but he wasn't top 5.

Debatable, but as I said beyond the point :p

I'm saying if he was JV caliber or someone like him.

I would say one of the top pitchers in the National League for the course of his career. I'm not sure where that fits into the poll, so I guess I won't vote.

Hater lol.

I'd say he'd probably one of the better pitchers in the league when he retires. But obviously when injuries start to hit him, he might as well be Prior v2 lol.

Its too early to make predictions on this. For all we know he could have a great first few seasons, then have Tommy John surgery and never be the same again.

I'll say a top pitcher but not HOF
