I can actually see LeBron as a Bull..
Maybe the number change was a plot because the Bulls retired 23.

And he wants to go where the GOAT played, and show him up basically. Who knows?

For sure. I just don't see how there can be any "news" until later when it's legal for people to talk to LeBron about signing him. Right now everything is speculation and it's just annoying as <Censored>.

Everyone needs to just stop guessing and wait until something actually happens.

If he leaves its to chicago.

BKS where did you hear that at?
It was on ESPN.com... Some thing with Scoop Jackson, Common and the Chinese guy from the Hangover. Scoop said that they had a long phone conversation, while they were talking about LeBron.

IDK if this is me trying to justify LeBron coming to New York, but I simply don't see how Chicago is this great fit for him.

Yes, they are the only team that without LeBron are still a playoff team... But how do their skills match with LeBron?

Their best player is Derrick Rose. He is unquestionably already a top PG in the league... But why does LeBron need a PG? LeBron was top 5 himself in assists per game this year. It is well documented that the Cavs, and LeBron function much better with the ball in LeBron's hands, bringing the ball up the court and then deciding what to do himself. Derrick Rose can score, but will he really benefit from LeBron? I feel like jump shooters would benefit more from LeBron, and although Rose's jumper has become better, I don't think LeBron would help Rose out too much.

Joakim Noah is a fine player who, depending on who you ask, erupted in the postseason... But really? A big three? What would make Noah any better of a scoring option than Shaq, Jamison? Noah is a beefed up Vereajo.. He'll get his 10+ boards and points, but never make a big impact imo. Not saying I'd mind someone like that on my team, but that's not part of a "big three".

Now, people might say that LeBron wants to follow in MJs footsteps.. I figure it's the opposite. Why would he want to be on the Bulls, where all of his accomplishments are then directly compared to MJ? Why would he want the pressure of restoring the Bulls to that level? I personally don't think that he wants to be the next Jordan, but rather the only LeBron.. Which I also think is why he switched the number; because perhaps he is tired of being compared to him, and wants to be his own player. Let's be real, LeBron in Chicago will never accomplish what Jordan did - and he probably knows this as well.

To me, it makes all the sense in the world for him to come to New York. LeBron would be coming in being able to choose his co-star. Joe Johnson? Chris Bosh? Maybe convince Dwyane Wade? Then, if the Knicks desire, they can sign D-Lee because of bird rights. LeBron, his choice of perennial all-star, Danilo Gallinari (one of the best shooters in the league, would benefit so much by LeBron's driving to the hoop), David Lee, etc? And I'm not even going to mention the appeal of being in NY.

That made sense for the most part. But regardless. you guys don't have enough money to sign another max player and get Lee back. It's either two max guys or one max and Lee.

People have been telling me that, kiki... But we have bird rights for Lee, and he made 7m last year, so we can sign him to a contract up to a certain % raise of the year prior, so if Lee waits until after we sign everyone else, we can sign him to that deal regardless of cap room. IDK if that'll happen, but it could and it's all speculation so I figured I'd throw it in as a possibility.

eric, they have to renounce david lee's bird rights in order to have the cap tp sign the two max players.

Just don't see how the Knicks is a good fit.. Even if he gets his co-star (Most likely Joe Johnson or I guess a Carlos Boozer, because I see Bosh wanting to be the #1 option on a team and Wade and LeBron wont play together), there isn't much else. The Knicks are in good position for cap space once Curry gets off and I think they would be a contender then, but I don't think LeBron wants to wait.

His best options are here and Chicago in my opinion.. We could probably trade Hickson to someone for an all-star player. The Suns were 15 mins away from trading us Amare in a deal for Hickson, and I would assume his value went up since then..

And with the Bulls, LeBron would be able to work off ball a lot more with Rose, and you would think that him playing off the ball would benefit him a lot more. But who knows if he even wants to play off ball.

if lebron leaves cle. I feel like his legacy will be tainted... Coming off a horrible series loss and never winning that city a championship after years of disappointment... Although I believe he has played with a horrible supporting cast his whole life.

LeBron has 4 players that have been All Stars at some point of his career around him in combination with a deep bench...

I wouldn't call that horrible...

You dudes underrate the Cavs so much. You only see LeBron...
