Imagine the things the US could do if there was some regulation to cut the salary of sports players...He's being paid to breathe...
Actually, in his position, honestly I'd be fine if they gave me less...but I wouldn't ask for less. I'd take what they gave me.WTF don't get mad at a man for trying to get as much money as possible. You're telling me in his position you'd be like "hey no i don't want another $30,000,000, thanks for the offer though"
Boras is for sure sittin there like "yo dude, i can get you way more than they're offering, don't even think about taking it." don't tell me you wouldn't be like f/ck yeah dudeActually, in his position, honestly I'd be fine if they gave me less...but I wouldn't ask for less. He'd be crazy not to accept it, but it could be used for better things

Pardon this interruption,ALL OF US WOULD TAKE THE MONEY.
Part of being the best player in the game, making top dollar. The Texas Rangers gave A-Rod a ridiculous contract once upon a time and it all went from there. A-Rod isn't the only player with a disgusting contract but yet we continue to use him as THE example when it comes to overpaid athletes.
I don't get it, I wish people would stop being such haters. I wish I had that kind of money, I don't, but even if A-Rod took a $500K salary, our country would still be dead-ass broke.
It kind of does when you think of how that money could be used...Yeah overpaying our athletes has not a damn thing to do with how much money we owe in debt lol.
Oh well if thats the case then I apologizeAt the time of signing his contract with the Rangers, he was the best player in the game.
I'm assuming that's what he meant lol.
How could we use it? We would still be trillions of dollars in debt.It kind of does when you think of how that money could be used...
A-Rod doesn't need to get paid more than entire teams.
What professional athletes make has nothing to do with our National debt or Wall Street for that matter. It kind of does when you think of how that money could be used...
