johan's been bad lately

his last start against the sluggish dodgers, he had 4 walks i think?
he's lucky he got through 6 innings. threw a ton of pitches, got in a lot of trouble, dodgers just couldnt hit so he gave up no runs

his next start, today, boom

on paper, they do

Beckett
Lester
Lackey
Dice K
Buccholz

nice ass rotation

they'll be fine eventually though.
idk about the division, but who knows. i have a hard time believing that they wont compete for a postseason spot
Too bad for you that the games aren't played on paper. They are played on an actual baseball field.

I don't like their rotation besides Halladay, tbh. Their offense is crazy good though.
Can we say how Halladay is living proof that the NL is an inferior league? If they get to play us in the WS, there likely won't be a sweep.

Why? Cuz of Vazquez? lol.
He doesn't exist to me. As far as I am concerned, we have four starters. C.C. "Horse" Sabathia, A.J. "Buzzsaw" Burnett, Andy "Ageless" Pettitte, and Phil "future Yankee ace" Hughes. But what is Halladay's ERA this year? Comparing that to when he was in the brutal AL East.

EDIT: BTW Sergio "Meattray" Mitre would be a better #5 than "he who will not be named"

Vazquez wouldn't be in the playoff rotation, he'd have mop up duties. Yankees had a 3 man rotation last year, they'll be thrilled to have 4 this year.

He's always had a great ERA. Plus it's only may. I'm sure it's gonna go up a bit.

Indeed. Especially if Marte, Robertson and Aceves don't return to 2009 form. The bullpen outside of Mo to an extent (who's had plenty of 3-2 counts this year) and "he who will not be named" are our biggest concerns right now. Joba's been improving slowly at least.

Andre Ethier is a really great player whose clutch intangibles are vastly underrated. Man I wish he was on my team. This guy is really good and should get more attention around baseball.

On a side note, it looks like Wrights power is back. Has 5 HR's and he only hit 10 last year so that is a big improvement, lol.

Just as I had hoped for, Santana struggled as I needed him to, to win my fantasy baseball match up and it worked out well. As far as Andre Ethier, I'm glad I have him on my fantasy team, he's a monster.

Bautista has a sweet swing. He just needs to do it consistently.
