The Jets agreed to terms with Jason Taylor on a two-year, $13 million contract, according to the Miami Herald and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Forget the $13 million number. Taylor is scheduled to fly into New York Wednesday morning to meet with Jets management and sign what is "essentially" a one-year, $3.75 million contract (after incentives). Taylor has been awfully hesitant to pull the trigger on a deal with the Jets, but he finally came to the realization that the Dolphins just weren't interested in bringing him back. Assuming he finds a better early-down option at outside linebacker (Bryan Thomas is on his way out), Rex Ryan intends to use Taylor as a situational pass rusher, playing 25 snaps per game. Everyone will just gloat about the Jets and all their signings. Jason Taylor isn't anything anymore...

I think he can rush the passer 25 times a game, easily.

Just heard on the radio now. Jared Allen was caught on video tape, telling a guy in the bar that "I will break your neck, homeboy". Alright, so since he has broken the NFL "Code of Conduct" he should be suspended most likely then, too.

A few weeks back I mentioned I heard from a reliable source that the Skins were talking to the Saints about a trade for Haynesworth. Now I'm hearing from two sources that the Skins are pushing hard for a trade of Haynesworth and Rocky McIntosh for Jammal Brown and a 2nd. The interesting thing, sources are from the Saints and Skins.

Bears re-acquired Chris Harris from the Panthers for WLB Jamar Williams Pretty good trade for both teams, hopefully Harris flourishes back in Chicago. He seems really excited to be back in town. Williams on the other hand should be pretty good in Carolina. He was considered Briggs' replacement when he was expected to leave and had 18 tackles against the Rams last year, so he's got some game. I wish him the best with the Panthers, I've always been a fan of him, but with Nick Roach and Hunter Hillenmeyer already as backup linebackers, we could afford to deal him away.

LE - Mark Anderson / Israel Idonije
DT - Tommie Harris
NT - Anthony Adams / Marcus Harrison
RE - Julius Peppers
SLB - Pisa Tinoisamoa / Nick Roach
MLB - Brian Urlacher / Hunter Hillenmeyer
WLB - Lance Briggs
CB - Charles Tillman
FS - Major Wright
SS - Chris Harris
CB - Zackary Bowman

This defense would be sick if we would have kept Alex Brown (and everyone stays healthy of course).

Major Wright is a best; however, I think Ahmad Black was better, just undersized.

Anthony Gonzalez (knee) and Bob Sanders (biceps) returned to practice for the Colts on Thursday.
Neither player appeared to be held back by their 2009 injuries. It will be interesting to see how their bodies respond to the workout. Sanders has remained tight-lipped about his status while Gonzalez maintains that he's "as close to 100 percent as he’s likely to be." Both players are expected to be full-go for training camp. May. 20 - 1:49 pm et

YES.

Lions are one of 5 times interested in Chester Pitts.

If we sign him, our O-Line would actually be respectable.
