What's up with David Wright lately?
He is swinging too late on pitches. He's not letting the ball get too deep into the strike zone before swinging. It doesnt help that the cleanup hitter behind him isnt hitting as well.

I understand that it's only April, but I am completely dumbfounded as to how people actually have Boston as a WS contender. Their line-up is putrid, they commit errors and allow stolen bases like no other and their pitching is massively overrated. Meanwhile the Yankees have won the first four series of the season for the first time since 2001 and they're wearing down opposing pitchers with ease. I can't believe that I am saying this, but once Tex, A-Rod and Swisher's bats really heat up, we may be unstoppable. The only question in the AL East is how many games the Yankees win this division by? I say 15+.

Well using your logic for how an early start measures future unstoppability, Barry Zito has had 3 quality starts for the first time since becoming a Giant and has given up like 2 runs all year...he's gonna win the Cy Young

I love it

The NL is a joke, we've been over this already. Look at Vazquez's two stints with us and then look at him in the NL. And if Zito wins the Cy Young, then LinceBaby won't win it.

Obviously

The NL is home to the best player in the league and the best pitcher in the league...the 2 best pitchers in the league actually...

Just that fact kills the whole "NL is a joke" argument...

I didn't know that C.C. Sabathia and Cliff Lee pitched for NL teams...

LMFAO OH MY <Censored>ING GOD MAN

Lincecum can match both of them in Cy Young in his last 2 years...GTFO

Just in case you want to get a taste of reality, I was referring to Tim Lincecum and Roy Halladay

We tore Halladay up last year and put Lincecum in the AL and his ERA would go to around 4 easily.

Ok...Jonathan Sanchez tore Jason Heyward up for 4 Ks last time they matched up...that means Heyward sucks dick then right

The pitching in the NL is so much better than the AL. Those guys would still dominate in the AL. Halladay has done it and Lincecum would hold his own and still rack up Cy Youngs...

You'd kill to have one of them...or is your team's rotation too good for them <_<

LOL we had two 3HR games against him last year...
LULZ, ZOMG HALLADAY SUCKS

You had two games where you 5 runs and three other games where Halladay dominated you, including a shutout.

But, no, you really tore him up...

Halladay is the best pitcher in the MLB. Consistent and will give his team a chance to win EVERY night.
