Feagles is like 50.... but still one of the best punters in the league so great move there. But damn this NFL draft takes a long time to get going....

Despite what Washington said, everyone knows they're trying to trade Haynesworth. The Saints have discussed trading Jammal Brown to Washington for Haynesworth straight up, depending on how the draft falls.

Also, the Saints have Alex Brown in for a visit and it's gone very well. Don't be surprised if the Saints offer him a contract very soon.

He sucked last year, hopefully he'll bounce back along with our RB's and our defense.

Damn that Albert contract is way too big for any team. This is just the EXACT move to set the Lions back again.

Either way its a stupid move for the Lions, they need to build through successful drafting and picking players who have great work ethics to start off.

Agreed, you shouldn't build your team off trades and free agency. It should be done mainly through the draft, then a few trades and free agent pick ups here and there to get complimentary players.

Peter King, of SI.com, reports the Cleveland Browns were scheduled to host Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant; however, a team source said Bryant is no longer on their NFL Draft list and he will not visit.

More than 10 teams have removed Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant from their draft boards, according to Profootballtalk.com.
One team is Seattle, which is a head-scratcher considering their public interest in Brandon Marshall. Bryant has compared his situation to that of Randy Moss coming into the league, and teams are starting to apply the same red flags. The major concern is that Bryant may not show up for practices once he gets paid, though the "diva clause" used in Michael Crabtree's contract could also be applied to Bryant. It only takes one team to make Bryant an early first-round pick.

I hate Bryant and Crabtree so much.

Who the <Censored> do they think they are? There's a big difference between college DB's and NFL DB's -- I don't care how good you are in college, it's about working hard.

Amen, that is the way that most good teams build up, and you draft the type players for your needs, not sign players b/c you need start at that position, and they will be less likely to buy into the message

Patriots agreed to terms with WR Torry Holt, formerly of the Jaguars, on a one-year, $1.7 million contract.
The Patriots have a habit of signing veterans looking for a last chance at ring, so it's not surprising that the 34-year-old Holt would land in New England. It's not a great fit, though. Julian Edelman can hold down the slot until Wes Welker returns, and the Pats need a playmaker opposite Randy Moss. The signing shouldn't preclude them from adding a receiver with an early-round pick. In fantasy terms, we prefer Edelman to the declining Holt as a potential WR3 this year. Apr. 20 - 1:44 pm et

At least it seems like the Patriots realize their window is closing... but adding this old guys for one year doesn't do anything for the long term of the organization.
