No. I posted info on that a while ago. They're just changing their alternate since every team is jacking the style now ;)

Dave Pagnotta of The Fourth Period via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review argues the case for Crosby's second MVP award:

"I'm a huge Ovechkin backer. I have been since he jumped in the league. If I had to pick a player to build my team around, it's Alex. But, this season, I say it's a toss-up between Sidney Crosby and Henrik Sedin for MVP. Look at how well the Capitals have performed with Ovechkin out of the lineup. Nicklas Backstrom(notes), Mike Green(notes) and Alexander Semin(notes) have been controlling the offense sans Ovi, keeping the Caps atop the East. Take Sid or Henrik (Sedin of Vancouver) off their respective clubs, and they're significantly worse off. I may even give the nod to Sedin -- without his outstanding play this year, the Canucks don't have a hope in hell of making the playoffs."

Wings butt raped the Wild today :)

I also might be going to the Wings game in Columbus on April 9th with a bunch of my buddies. I've always wanted to go to a sports game in the opposing teams venue. It's going to be awesome :)

Fucking great. The Flyers goal gets disallowed on a play that should be unreviewable but its the right call

They interfered with Fleury and got their goal taken back <3

Still 1-1!

after not scoring for 33 straight PPs, the Bruins have 2 PPGs today. Seidenberg and Krejci. Krejci's shot was just beautiful

And this is why I want to see a Pens/Flyers series in the playoffs. This would be so interesting

Savard talked to the media today for the first time since his concussion. Everyone was wondering about the same thing, Matt Cooke:

“He’s tried. I guess he’s tried to get my phone number and stuff like that,” said Savard. “But from what happened, I really don’t right at the moment have an interest in talking to him. That’s just how I feel. Maybe down the road. But right now, I’m not feeling any better so I’d rather not talk to him.”

also, it's still worth noting, that Savard doesn't remember the hit nor a short while after it while he was out.

Well at least Cooke obviously feels remorseful about it...but apologies can't change any of the events that took place.

At least he's recovering right?

He has to be remorseful, he gave him a bad concussion..he's gotta save face somehow.

His recovery is so-so, good and bad.

but, back to the game, Bruins tack on two more and chase Kipper. Berge and Recchi <3

You remember his reaction on the ice after the hit right? Pretty sure he's been remorseful from the get go...

Meh the playoffs are up in the air for the Bruins right now and honestly...I want the Thrashers in over them ;)

He looked indifferent on the ice. He's made these hits before and this is the first time, to my knowledge, that he's said anything about being remorseful. It's w/e now, I don't care about him so we'll move on.

The playoff hopes are more clear than Atlanta's lol...especially if they keep playing like they had against the Bruins.

On game topic, Boychuk gets a major, and game misconduct, for elbowing. No real malice but a bad hit from Johnny.

You do care about Cooke. You want him trashed admit it =(

Atlanta can do it if they win all their games...including Pittsburgh twice XD

Coyotes... so <Censored>ing fluky.

Anderson, I haven't said one bad thing about you the whole year but you have to pick it up. Stastny and Stewart, you have to show up to EVERY game. I understand that you guys are good (were 1 and 2 in points after the Olympic break but I think they have dropped a bit now) but you have to show up to every game not every 2nd game. Joe Sacco get it through your mind that Budaj is a capable goalie that deserves to play sometimes too. Especially when Anderson is showing fatigue. Sacco, get it through you're head Clark and Salei SUCK. Stop benching Liles, one of our main pieces of our Powerplay and start to bench Clark and Salei. There is a reason why our PP hasn't been clicking in the last 4 games and that reason might be that Liles is always <Censored>ing scratched. Liles dosen't take stupid penalties late in the game unlike Clark and Salei. Finally <Censored> injuries, the Avs are now 2nd in man games lost to injuries.

You should really be worried about that possible playoff matchup. Seems like the Yotes might shock teams this year. I'd love to see them in the Finals actually

Pens and Leafs today...they need to increase that lead
