The Hornets beat the Mavs pretty soundly tonight. CP3 finally returned, had 11 points in the 4th quarter. But the steal of the draft led the Hornets with 28 points. I thought the Mavs would be something to fear in the playoffs, but now I'm having second thoughts.

Toronto beat Minnesota tonight, move to 7th place to play the Magic instead of Cavs (for now of course). Hopefully Charlotte loses tomorrow night to Washington.

Hopefully we can win a couple more games cause I wouldn't mind playing anyone but the Magic and Hawks. If our defense shows up for the play-offs I think we would have a chance at Cleveland but I'm not so sure Bosh will re-sign if we don't make it out of the first round.

It could be entertaining to see us play the Magic, especially with Turkoglu being a former Magic player.

I thought about that and it's true, but in the long run I don't think our defense could handle them. I'd love to play the Celtics.

Why hasn't Marcus Thornton been starting all along? He's way better than MoPete and could use the minutes to get better since they probably won't make the play-offs.

I don't get why they traded Eddie House. Sure, Nate is more talented but House brought more energy off the bench and fit in a better role behind Rondo than Nate does.

I think it was more so they could have a point guard who could handle the ball and make plays other than Rondo. We all know House is only good for catching and shooting.

Nate was brought in to take some minutes away from Rondo and Allen, much better option then House.

I guess it does make sense in a way but they already had Marquis Daniels and Tony Allen at back-up SG.

i never believed in them

Dirk is a choke artist
Kidd is old. He cant play great for an entire season long. he's starting to fade
Butler, meh
Marion, meh.
Haywood is really overachieving this season. (contract year). I was cracking up when i heard everyone call him a tough inside presence. he's not. and he's not as good a rebounder as his stats say. and look at that, lately he's been bad

they're going to have trouble in the first round no matter who they play.

Probably one of the greatest I've seen this year, thanks for the post lol. That had to get the team going.

I always thought when they encountered a speedy PG they'd struggle. Just looking at what the Hornets can do against them, they can't contain a speedy PG.

CLEVELAND -- Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas has signed to play the rest of the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
