I know

but who gives a <Censored> about a slew foot?

seriously though dude, last few days you've been too much of a homer
How was I being a homer by pointing out that he slew footed Crosby...which is a fact? Can I not point out the facts now?

That was a shot in the dark...pitch black night...

there's more facts too point out rather than a slew foot

That was just the highlight of it. I was just making a statement about Downie...

No one's being a homer, just making a statement.

You'd do the same if it was Phil <_<

Wings pull of the biggest win of the year.

Up 3 points now ahead of the Flames for 8th place.

Players have been suspended in the past for slew foots...

Artyukhin was suspended for 3 games earlier this season for a slew foot.

If he was penalized, I'd agree

Cooke is a gritty player but some of his stuff goes too far and I don't condone that

VANCOUVER — A disappointing season came to an early end Sunday for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, and now Vancouver Canucks draft pick Jordan Schroeder has a decision to make.

Does he turn pro or return to Minnesota for a third season?

Schroeder said Monday he will make his decision by the end of this week. But in a telephone interview the 19-year-old centre sounded very much like a young man who is leaning toward turning pro.

"It's every kid's dream to be a professional hockey player," Schroeder said. "I am discussing my options right now and you never know what might happen here in the next few days. I am talking to my agent (Neil Sheehy) and my family."

Schroeder acknowledged the Canucks would very much like to sign him to a pro contract. He could then conceivably join the Manitoba Moose for the remainder of their American Hockey League season.

The Gophers were knocked out of the first round of the playoffs for only the second time in the last 33 years on Sunday when they dropped a 4-1 decision to North Dakota.

It marked the end of a disappointing season for Schroeder, Vancouver's first-round pick (22nd overall) in 2009, and his Minnesota team.

Schroeder experienced what can best be described as a serious sophomore slump in his second year at Minnesota. He scored nine goals and registered 28 points in 37 games this season after potting 13 goals and 45 points in 35 games in his freshman season.

"Obviously, I was disappointed in what I did production-wise," he said. "But that's going to happen to you in your career. You are going to face adversity in your life. It's probably the first time I have faced some major adversity, not producing as much as I am used to. I think it was a learning experience that I hope will benefit me and make me want it that much more."

Sheehy said in a telephone interview that he expects a decision in the "next three days."
<3 I'd be happy if he signs a contract. Moose fans have something to be excited about lol.

You're so bitter these days

Get over it <_<
No shit I'm bitter, I'm not going to just get over this idiot taking out one my my team's star players. It's not a couple games. It's not a boo-boo on his wrist. He has a GRADE 2 fucking concussion. Seriously, I don't understand how many times I have to keep saying this before you realize the situation.

If this happened to Crosby, you'd be calling for the guy's head. Wouldn't be surprised if you did it yourself actually. Fact is, though, that would never happen because that guy would be out of the league by now.

And I'm bitter because you spend so much freakin time talking about facts and nobody seeing the facts and, yet, you're so blind to the these same facts when they are about your team. Matt Cooke's not just a gritty player. He's a dirty player that plays on the edge and is no stranger to crossing the line. There's no arguing it. The facts are there. The videos is there. It's all there so why don't you do us all a favor and stop trying to tell us otherwise.

And I'm bitter because challenges like Ovechkin's are suspendable offenses but Cooke's isn't. How much worse was Ovechkin's than Cooke's? None. Just like Ovechkin, Cooke could have avoided his hit, hell, he could have even hit him shoulder to shoulder. But, surprise surprise, the dirty player didn't take that hit and saw the opportunity to get his "legal" hit in.

You brought up a lot of "facts to prove Ovechkin's a dirty player who deserved his suspension, and probably a longer one. Guess what. Cooke is not only a repeat offender but he's ALREADY been suspended three times for dirty hits....TWICE within A YEAR! Must not see that in RidePenguinDick-land (also, that's twice that I've brought this up). If Ovechkin's a dirty player who deserved his suspension then Matt Cooke should be out of the league by now.

oh my god.

did he really just?

are those what I think they are?

could it be?

Well, I'll be damned I think those are some FACTS.

I'm bitter? Yeah and you're a homer..

You know what's funny?

Ovechkin is still going to lead the league in points and possibly goals even after missing around 10 games this season. The 2 game suspension means nothing anyways, just the NHL trying to make a point. It wasn't worth 2 games it's just that this is there chance, even if you're the best player in the game which Ovechkin is and it's not close no matter how much PM7 denies it. He's the best player in the NHL on the best team in the NHL.

A homer that already said I wouldn't mind if he got a suspension...to be honest, I didn't care if he got a suspension or not. Homer is such an overused phrase these days and quite frankly you can call me what you want, it doesn't matter to me because I understand you have reasons to be mad.

I've also admitted his play was dirty...so what are you trying to say? So in all I've said that he could have got a suspension and I wouldn't mind and that his play is dirty...thats basically what you've been saying the whole time is it not? If he was suspended you wouldn't see me lobbying for him to be freed or some shit like that. I did say I don't see why he should be suspended if he didn't even get a penalty on the play...and even you have to agree with me on that one at least the grounds of it. Why would anyone get suspended if they didn't even get a penalty on the play?

Calm the fuck down, you have more important things to worry about than the things I say about this whole situation...like the Bruins making the playoffs...
