Wow such a good chance couldn't capitalize...the Bruins need to keep breaking down like that

I told you, they don't play 60 minutes of hockey. IDK why but it's infuriating as hell.

On an unrelated topic, I think they should play Bergeron on Savard's wing for a couple shifts.

I believe you now. They just quit it looks like...wow...like I've only seen the Bruins a couple of times this season and now I understand why fans are so frustrated with the team this season. Like they're just LETTING the Penguins do whatever they want and when they're on the attack they either make a stupid decision that leads to a turnover, or just don't attack hard enough. It would frustrate the hell out of me.

I think they should play Michael Ryder more lol he's been scaring me

You pretty much hit it in a nutshell.

Like, I don't blame Thomas at all for this score right now, they've given up in front of him and he's still saving a ton of shots. How much can one guy do?

The Newf has snipes but I feel that he's easily defended now. He's getting into a groove I think, now, because Lucic is banging around and Savard making good passes for him. Maybe more time, though, might wake him the hell up.

Thomas has been good this game, but the defense has given up and they can't win like that

And damn, stretcher...I didn't think the hit was bad but wow

First Bergy, now Savard. Hockey gods don't seem to like the Bruins having star centers playing. I hope the lack of movement is more precautionary than it is he can't move.

Like the hit didn't look nearly as bad as hits that usually send players down to the ice to where a stretcher is needed to get them off. I feel bad for Cooke though he has to be thinking about this. Not to forget Savard, hope he's alright. The Bruins can't afford him to be out this season

No penalty? Come on..

Not malicious, I'll agree with that, but it was definitely a reckless hit...and to the head. Which, as far as I knew, was being treated as serious by the NHL.

What would you call on it? Interference? Charging? Elbowing?

I'm not even being bias when I say I didn't think a penalty was needed. He wasn't aiming for the head and I'm knocking Savard out wasn't what he intended

Now THAT could possibly have been goaltender interference

If Thomas is pulled please let Crosby get it

Elbowing would be the call.

I'm agreeing with you that it wasn't malicious; definitely didn't look it to me. But it was a wreckless hit away from the play. And the NHL has been talking soo much about head shots and concussions that it's baffling that this wouldn't warrant a minor.

There's Fedotenko again BTW...

Malkin with 2 shots on an open net after the play lol

Yeah the NHL needs some kind of rule about it I'll say that. There have been so many incidents like this recently

Good game though. I wanted Crosby to score but oh well

BTW, he's allowed back in bed now...

The Hunwick-Boychuk D pairing needs to be broken up. Boychuk isn't an incredibly bad defender but he's more of an offensive guy and needs a defensive-minded guy playing next to him. The Stuart-Boychuk pairing was working, IDK why they were broken up.

If Savard is out for an extended period of time, idk if I'd rather Sobotka play or have Brad Marchand get some ice time.

Might as well let one of the younger centers get some time

BTW, Johnny Boychuk sucks lol
