Charles Barkely and Kenny Smith enjoy their television work for TNT, but both still dream of becoming an NBA general manager.

"That's next for me," Barkley said. "I've been doing this for 10 years. I'm going to need another challenge soon.

"I think some teams know that. I've got to make sure it's a good situation for me. I mean, I'm not going to jump on the Titanic. I've got a great gig and I work with great people, but I'm going to need a bigger challenge."

we were just talking about the dunk contest
then pugz said they need to expand the field
so i immediately thought of Larry Nance because back then they had like 8 guys
so i looked him up on google and got a picture of the 84 contest

right now on TNT they just showed Larry Nance highlights

thats how it needs to be now 8 guys, maybe 6. or teams

3v3, stars vs rising stars or unknowns vs rising. get it?

that'd be dope.

did anyone catch inside the nba?

it was hilarious.
Kenny: "I like George Hill. He plays a looooonnnnng, harrrrd game."
Chuck: "I like the way he goes all out. He just lets it all hang out."

then Charles goes, what do they call Chauncey?
then Ernie says "Mr. Big shot"
then Chuck says "we may need to change that"

then the Cavs highlights come on.
Charles says that Ron Jeremy should have them give Dwight the ball.
then a few seconds later Charles goes, "I heard it through the grapevine that the Magic want to trade for Mr. Big shot".

man i was busting up. that was hilarious

George Karl and the Nuggets have agreed to a one-year, $4.5 million contract extension, according to a league source.

RealGM Note: Karl has a career record of 968-660 and a 260-161 record (.618 winning percentage) since taking over in Denver during the middle of the 04-05 season.

He's not playing in Phoenix. Phoenix changes people. Look at Channing Frye.

Marion's done great this year.

I'm excited for tomorrow's game to see how they fit in.

The only weakness is our backup forwards....because we don't really have any

"What's up man?" Kaman said as LeBron James gave him a hug. "You got my money?"

"Yeah," James said. "See me in the locker room."

"He owes me money," Kaman said. "He's one of the top five highest paid players in the NBA and he can't give me my money. I'm trying to figure out what's going on. It's a $100. In the rookie game six years ago we did half court shots and everybody put money in and he was the only one out of all the rookies that didn't pay me. The No. 1 pick turned out to be a cheapskate. I don't know what he's doing with his money."

Perhaps, James could pay Kaman back by joining the Clippers in the offseason.

"That would be fantastic," Kaman said. "He put Cleveland on the map. Maybe he can do the same for us. I'd let him slide if he did that."

lol im joking of course

im still feeling the clippers a little. not much, but a little. very little

lets just assume he stays in cleveland. is he really changing his number to 6?
i can see it happen if he leaves, but what do you think if he stays?

i cant believe we have to talk about him leaving. he should be locked up already. cavs have been in a winning position for a few years now

He's probably not going to change his number regardless, just said that stuff in the heat of the moment like going in the dunk contest.

i just think he proved why he shouldnt do it

he said he want to honor MJ. ok fine
but then he wants 6. um, didnt Bill Russell wear 6? he meant a lot to the game
same with Julius Erving. That was MJ's idol

MJ was great, but he's not far and away above all the other greats. they're all great
he should just keep 23. who cares.
