Yahoo! Sports - NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the league could consider banning the three-point stance.

Concerned about concussions, Goodell said the league will keep looking for ways to make the game safer.

"As you'll see tonight, you'll see a lot of players that never get down in a three-point stance," Goodell said Sunday. "So it's possible that would happen."

While science is still trying to determine the long-term effects of concussions, the league has made progress in increasing awareness about the severity of such injuries.

"For many years the culture had been quite different—that concussions weren't serious injuries," he said. "I think we have changed that culture and made sure that people understand they are serious, and they can have serious consequences if they're not treated properly."
How would this work?

why? f/ck goodell. other things, i can see why they could be banned but this is an integral part of the game that is done by multiple players on literally every snap. why would you even think of this.

I understand they want to keep the players safe, but they are turning the NFL into such a joke with all these damn rule changes.

Don't play the game if your afraid of injuries.

He's not the worst.

Sorry, but I do like that they are looking out for player safety.

This rule will never happen, no need to even worry about it.

Deacon Jones will murder him if this happens.

yeah - too difficult to re-train everyone.

if he wants to help with concussions, make it Mandatory to wear the newer helmets...

That looks ridiculous, even if it is safer.

I have to agree, I wouldn't wear that <Censored>, no matter what.

I'd wear the revolution and the revolution speed, but not that ugly thing.
