http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...s&confirm=trueNew Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix fired all of the team's coaches Monday and told them to clean out their offices and leave the building, NFL.com's Vic Carucci reports.
A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press that interim coach Perry Fewell was fired but still will interview for the vacant job. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team hasn't announced the dismissals.
The decisions came one day after the Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts 30-7 to end their season at 6-10.
Days after he fired coach Dick Jauron in November, Bills owner Ralph Wilson said no job was safe as he was preparing to revamp his entire front office once the season ended. The overhaul began last week, when Nix was promoted from national scout to GM, filling a spot that had been filled by chief operating officer Russ Brandon, who had no football background.
The Bills closed their 50th season by missing the playoffs for a 10th consecutive year, capping a decade in which they enjoyed only one winning season (9-7 in 2004).
haha, wow. At the beginning of the season I really thought this team could be half-decent and they actually started the year "ok". Most of that staff was hired by Jauron in the first place, so it's really no shock that they are entirely cleaning house.
