Leafs had the Pens all game. I thought it was over when it was 3-2. When Rupp tied it I thought the Pens had it and wouldn't let up. Ian White had a good shot to win it not gonna lie. Congrats Leafs for a good ass game

Coyotes win 3-2. We got our first 'loser point' this season.

ARLINGTON, Virginia (AP)—Russian goalie Semyon Varlamov(notes) was sent by the Washington Capitals to American Hockey League affiliate Hershey on Tuesday on his return from injury.

Varlamov had been sidelined since Dec. 7, missing nine NHL games, because of what the team called a lower-body injury.

He was 12-2-1 with a 2.21 goals-against average for the Southeast Division-leading Capitals.

Varlamov was expected to rejoin the Capitals next week.

The 21-year-old was selected for Russia’s Olympic team last week.
