And I don't care about his stats. Fleury has the better supporting cast than Luongo does.
Did you read that list up there? Fleury's had his complete supporting cast for only a couple of games! They're just healing! You do know that half of the defense core has been out for mostly all the season right?

Orpik, Eaton, Goligoski, Engelland, Lovejoy, Skoula

Thats such a great defense in front of him.

Not to mention the forwards that were out. Fleury's had a decent team for a majority of the season and he's still outperforming Luongo and his Canucks. They're JUST getting back on track in terms of their play. They haven't even worked out all the problems on the team yet. Fleury's just been amazing, thats why the Pens were able to maintain their status as a top team. You act like the Canucks have a bad squad...

^But we're not on the top because of injuries to Luongo and other players before. Now we've been playing pretty good and Luongo has been playing lights out and making the timely saves that we need. All I'm saying is your team has been playing well as a whole and Fleury has not been the only one who's been carrying your team.

Somewhat but not quite. They've had struggles early and the power play is still struggling. The Pens have just benefited from players like Jordan Staal and Bill Guerin showing up and making big plays. Bylsma had to shake the lines up just recently because obviously something wasn't working.

Fleury might not be the only one carrying the team, but someone has to stop pucks and thats what he's been doing

^You got a point there it's was pretty much the same thing happened when guys like Daniel Sedin got injured. They had to rely on guys like Mason Raymond or Ryan Kesler. Raycroft was great but they inconsistent without the key guys like Luongo, Sedin etc....

BTW Bieksa hsa been garbage the whole season. Idk what happened to him.

They still have the Chance to be NW chance for 2 years in a row. We're only four points behind the Lames and Douche's team :D.

I like Fleury and I'm not a fan at all of Luongo but I would probably take Luongo over Fleury any day.

I used to think that too...before this season. Fleury stepped his game up tremendously.

And like I said, what does Luongo have that Fleury doesn't?

Before the game tonight, he only had a better save % and more shutouts...Fleury had everything else <_<

I find it ironic how Fleury sucked ass tonight

Career stats don't mean anything concerning this season <_<.

Jason Blake has better career stats than Mikhail Grabovski but who's a better player <_<

Fleury's coming up and Luongo's gonna move out the way <3

What happened with Gill?

Career stats means a hell of a lot when you're comparing two players though

just think about it, when a team has a ton of fast dangling russians, Hal Gill is screwed lol

Well look on the other side of that argument, look at career accomplishments

Mark Messier Leadership Award, All Star Games and 2nd NHL Teams are what stick out for Luongo

Fleury's list isn't as big as Luongo's, but he's been to the playoffs 3 times, and 2 of those times were Stanley Cup appearances, and 1 Cup...

that's a team accomplishment, not individual. Fluery was not responsible for them being there nor was he responsible for them winning the Cup

Lol. Wow, hop off.

Being a winner doesn't make you good or bad. Look at Osgood, three Cups, but he's no Marty Broduer. Stats are what make you better. Luongo has better stats and played for the Panthers for half of his career, while Fluery played for the Penguins.

Bottom line, Luongo is better, Fluery has a better team.
