Last year they won 66 games in the regular season and had everyone talking. I don't mind losing some games earlier in the year and playing lazy early in the year. As long as they finish strong and don't limp into the playoffs.

lol i was talking about the announcers

and hobbling into the playoffs doesnt matter IMO with the first round being best 4/7
Magic were 4-5 last year to end the season. they won the final game of the season after having a 3 game losing streak and losing 4/5

Some teams can turn it on like the Lakers and Spurs, hopefully the Cavs are one of those teams as well.

You'd love them if they were Laker announcers. Pretty sure everyone who isn't a Cavs fan who has ever listened to them hates them but they're awesome lol

laker announcer right now kinda sucks

Hot Rod Hundley was the Jazz announcer for 35 years. he retired after we beat the Jazz in the playoffs
but since our regular color guy is out til around Christmas, he's filling in for the Lakers as a color guy after spending 35 years as play by play.

so we have 2 play by play guys basically.
yesterday was pretty weird when the Lakers played the Jazz. you can tell he still has love for them. he was gloating about Wes Matthews and Booz and DWill and Okur. ugh

Nothing beats Austin Carr and his random ramblings and his weird sayings while yelling and completely biased lol.

Mavs keep winning, still somewhat under the radar. 18-7. Alone in 2nd place in west, we are becoming the Kings of clutch wins

Also JJB <3
23 points

You are until you face the Lakers :D
A healthy Lakers squad. None of this no Pau Gasol, and broken finger Kobe Bryant stuff :p

JJ Barea with a season high 23 points. The dude is sick and is emerging as an important scoring threat on our team. Mavs beat the Hornets. Win streak now 4.

Anyway, good basketball tonight f'sho. First the Lakers, and then I get to see my fav' rook Tyreke in the national spotlight.

Kings rookie guard Tyreke Evans was, as they say, all that. More impressive than he was during the preseason, which was impressive indeed. His numbers were great -- 17, 7, 3, 2 steals, 1 block, 1 turnovers in 32 minutes. His demeanor and cool even better. He passes to space fearlessly and intelligently; he sees passes and angles his teammates don't yet see. He plays hard. He rises to challenges. He is tough. He is level-headed. His touch at the rim is next level. Body control out of this world. There was an unmistakable feeling to tonight's game that within say, two years, the buzz before the Kings come to town will rival just about any other team in the league, simply because of Evans' presence. Rolling your eyes at this praise? Go check out Nate McMillan's comments below. He compared Evans to Magic Johnson. And was dead serious.
