you could tell that goalie the Caps called up was nervous, he was biting on everything, that last goal by Poni was pretty bad

Canucks' powerplay is on fire. They're up 2-0 in the first. 2 of those goals are PPGs <3.

Nucks win 4-3 in a weird fashion. The Canucks were outplayed for about 40 minutes but their PP came up really big. This win could possibly be a huge confidence booster for the Canucks. Henrik is also now second in the NHL with 41 points. Suck it Crosby.

I just think it's dumb, a loss is a loss.
I actually agree with you now. Some teams that are over 500 are out of the playoff picture but some teams that are under the 500 are in the playoff picture because they have a lot of OT losses. Seems unfair to me imo.

the fact that they're so young, I doubt they will, but you never know

tbh, I hope they make the playoffs

They aren't far removed from the playoffs. Their team is capable but they'll have to work together all season to make something like that happen.

Another surprise, Steve Mason sucking balls lol. I remember when everyone was saying he'd be the #3 goalie for Team Canada...great showing this year and thats definitely gonna happen...

Marc-Andre has the #3 job all locked up...and if Brodeur can't step it up then maybe he can get the backup job o_O

Yeah I'd agree with that but the real question is, can they keep that streakiness up?
Well I already knew that they will be fighting for a playoff spot but they're on of the top teams in the NHL right now. I actually expected them to be in 7th or 8th place. But then again it's still kinda early (not really) to tell if they're actually contenders.

god dammit! I'm sick of blowing games. It shouldn't matter though because the game should be 2-2 but they disallowed Sobotka's goal in the 1st. They said Boucher never had a chance to save the puck but that's horsesht.
